David Beckham Has Asthma, He Reveals

We never knew this!
David Beckham took a quick puff of his inhaler during the MLS Cup final this weekend, revealing that the famous footballer is living with asthma.
Becks has suffered from a mild form of the condition since he was a kid, his rep confirms, but he hadn't been seen publicly using his inhaler before.
Dr. Mike Thomas of Asthma UK says: "Seeing David Beckham using an inhaler is proof asthma needn't stop you competing at the highest level."
Pretty inspirational for young aspiring athletes around the world!

David Beckham is freakin HOT
Of course he is going to succeed!! He's doing the universal sign for "Unicorn Riders Carry On!!! I've Got MY Light On, Almost…" Well, we don't have to like his wife; we like THIS guy though!! Why, just yesterday my dream came true. Russo and I do "this" type of sign all the time…. And a brave young man walked past My house yesterday and SIGNED ME!!! And, it was a similar but more advanced level of 'joining'… Thank YOU!!! And; some people need to declare their physical challenges, some people don't. All the same; all the same pattern, just different, that is all…… Good for you David. Inspire young people and cheer up the old foggies!!
Blessings to an uber-super dee-doopity Dad;

PUUUHHHHHHLEASE…. get out of his ass…… its just asthma…. not diabetes… not that big a deal
he looks a million times sexier with a buzz cut
he's got a big schlong too
They got their money's worth with this waste.
Re: pipp33 – Re: pipp33 – Really? Because Asthma is a problem for a lot of people. 1 in 4 Americans has Asthma, people miss work due to asthma, visit emergency rooms, and even die. For an athlete who requires endurance and lung power, it can be a hindrance. Hell, I remember days in gym class where kids with asthma weren't allowed to participate, crappy, but completely true.
As a distance runner with asthma who often gets discouraged, I thought it was nice to see that there is a top-level athlete who has the affliction. It's not being up someone's ass to just recognize something they're not letting affect them. Not everyone is that martyr Nick Jonas.
Idiots… he is most likely taking astma medecin before a game cause it increases ur performance causing ur lungs to expand
Re: pipp33 – dude, you cant be serious. Uhh "its not like its diabetes" YOUR A FUCKING RETARD.
i know CPR
umm, this is news? TONS of people have asthma.. me being one.
Re: pipp33 – Are you retarded? "It's just asthma" Do you know what its like to be unable to breathe? You could be running, sitting or talking and all of a sudden you can't catch your breath! Asthma is awful! Yes, its not diabetes, but having difficulty breathing is awful.
His wife is ugly, and she has an eating-order. So ….. they all need something .
Re: pipp33 – Are you serious?!? "Its just asthma"…. wtf?! Asthma is a seriously and terrible condition to have. "Not that big a deal"….. so you think not being able to breathe isn't important?!?
His haircut is definitely making ME gasp.
He has just inspired me so much. You would have to be an idiot to think that asthma isn't a big deal. Apart from your mother always spazzing about it, you also can't participate in certain activities in gym class, even if you're in good physical shape you know yourself you can do it.
I have an active lifestyle, and I aspire to be a police officer, but my brother just told me that it's impossible for me to be a cop because I have asthma. Honestly, it was like a slap to the face. I couldn't believe he said it. I obviously don't believe him, because really, he's an idiot, but it did really get to me. And I'm just grateful to see such a successful athlete being able to cope with something like this.
Can you imagine not being able to breath? It feels like you're throat is closing off, it's like you're suffocating within yourself. And on top of that, I cough so much during an attack I wouldn't even have a chance if I COULD breath, because the coughs are so violent. I ALWAYS have to have my inhaler with me wherever I go, because sometimes an attack can come out of no where, not just from physical activity.
oh wow Asthma really? It must be so hard for him to play soccer and puff on an inhaler. He is truly an inspiration to everyone HA HA HA HA yeah right, serriously its a MILD form of ASHTMA. Ger a life Perez.
For all y'all people who have don't have asthma…be glad. Be glad you don't have to take your little inhaler friend with you wherever you go…"just in case". Be glad you don't have a panic attack when you realize that you left it in your gym bag at work…and you need it. I have asthma attacks that won't kill me, but they will wake me up at night, make me lose my concentration in the middle of work and ruin my night out because of the dumbdicks sucking on cancer sticks in front of nightclubs. You be glad that you don't have asthma…and I'll be glad I don't have your butt roids.
welcome to the club lad.
My son has asthma and its the worst he has been in the hospital many times starting when he was one. He has missed so much school do to his asthma and he can't do alot of activities other kids his age can do. So yeah it is a serious condition
This make's no sence. If he had Asthma as a child he should have out grown it as an adult. There could be more to his medical condition then we know.
Re: rudy96 – Not true at all, in fact I was diagnosed with Asthma when I was 19 but the doctor said I probably had it all my life it just didnt effect me until then.
yes it is inspiring!!
love him 2!!
