Lemme get this straight…was it important to the story that her child happened to be of mixed heritage? Would she have been a better mother/person if the baby were 'all white'? Re: me – I do think she's bipolar. I also know how hard it is to convince someone in a manic state that they're actually sick and need help. Until she's willing to admit there's a problem, though, nothing is going to change, it's as simple as that. You can't force someone onto medication, and you can't involuntarily admit them to a hospital unless they're doing something that is genuinely dangerous to themselves or others (such as self-injury, suicide attempts, violence against others, etc.).
Your brother, you say, "battles" his illness. Britney embraces hers, makes excuses for herself and her behavior (and her illness), and lives in continual denial that there's even a problem. If she was REALLY battling the illness, I think a lot more people would be supportive. I know I would. But until and unless she's willing to admit there's a problem… nothing's going to change for the better. Simple as that.

You know Britney is a good kid at heart , has anybody thought maybe she's dealing with post partum depression and she doen'nt know she should be getting help because she does'nt know the signs and the idiots she surrounds herself with really don't care about her. I think that is covers like this that are the reason that mental illness has such a negative stigma and why more people don't get help. So I find this cover wrong and is not helping undo the negative stigma of mental illness. I do think that Britney has problems but that is her personal life. not for us to judge and I highly doubt that many of these magazines that have any idea what is really involved in mental illness and should just let her get the help she needs in private.

Her Label should offer her an ultimatum: Go to a mental hospital for treatment or we DROP YOU. That would definately get her ass in gear. People need to threaten her where it hurts to get her into treatment. Her family should cut off all contact with her and K-Fed should block Brit from seeing the kids at all. Eventually the isolation will be too much and she will be forced to seek help. As long as people keep accepting her insanity nothing will change.

I agree about the stigma part but Britney keeps putting herself out there and no one's stopping her so unfortunately the negativity will continue. Hollywood should abandon Brit, people should refuse to work with her and turn her away from the clubs. This way she will have to seek help. As long as everyone allows her to keep acting this way she'll never get help. It was the same way with Anna Nicole, no one said No to her.

This week marks the 1 year anniversary of being on life support for 3 days. I took an overdose of all my medications and almost got away with it, but a friend just happened to find me. Sometimes I wish I would have died, especially this past week. Mental illness is not something to throw around lightly.
