perez-you have no idead how painful kidney infections are…..some infections lead to stones which are even worse!!!!!
The poor little thing went to rehab for food addictions but the place she went to doesn't treat food addictions, they treat drug addictions. Perhaps she was misguided? Certainly nobody in her world would lie to the public.

actually, sex CAN be a reason for a kidney infection. it's not always the number one reason, but things like hygiene and intercourse can lead to a higher likelihood for a young woman to get a UTI — which leads to a bladder infection, which leads to kidney infections. it's actually relatively common for a woman in the first year or two of her sexual activity.
and perez — not that youd ever read this, but i dont know why you dont believe she has a kidney infection. they can be very painful, ive had two kidney infections (caused by e. coli), i needed pain medicine alone to control the terrible flank pain. it can get really bad, and some choose to be hospitalized so they can get a good IV antibiotic treatment if its serious enough. otherwise, you can take oral antibiotics and just be closely monitored by your doc.
I work in a major NYC hospital. Believe me, the real story of why she was admitted will be leaked out soon enough. Wanna know why? Because most people that work in admitting and medical records are clueless idiots with just high school diplomas who push paper all day long. A celebrity coming to stay is big news, and they get excited so they blab to 2 friends, and then they tell 2 friends, and so on…
BTW, even licensed hospital staff like RNs blab too. No one gives a crap about HIPAA (well, except those people that got canned who peaked into George Clooney's medical record)

My doctor threatened to hospitalize me when I came in with a kidney infection and 104 degree temperature. It's usually to make sure you can get enough fluids to your kidneys before serious damage sets in. Oh, and it's not just glorious amounts of sex that cause them but poor diet, especially extremely low caloric intake can make you ketotic. Hrm….but that wouldn't be something to worry about here would it?

i had a kidney infection in the spring and ended up in the hospital with a 104 fever, severly low blood pressure and couldnt even walk because i was so sick. its a real thing so it doesnt need "" quotes around it. its very common for women as people have said its a UTI or bladder infection that goes untreated. the bacteria e coli ends up attacking your kidney

Yikes…embarassing!! I had this too. It is basically from sex…in the sense that you can easily get a UTI from that and it can progress to the kidneys if not properly treated. It sucks, you feel sooooooo sick and it's dangerous!! Your blood can get totally septic, which can kill you.

Many women frequently get bladder infections from having sex which means…homegirls getting laid!:) Because it is a bacterial infection, symptons are high fever and other flu/meningitis like symptons. A hospital stay can be anywhere from a day to a week. Might I remind everyone that a few years back Ben Affleck was hospitalized for suspected meningitis and had a spinal tap done only to find out it was a kidney infection and was hospitalized for a week. Ok, folks. Let's clear this up once and for all. Drugs, and eating disorders do not cause bladder infections. Think about it. It's an INFECTION, which means something has to cause it. Drugs and eating disorders do not cause it but can make you more vulnerable. So what is the thing to infect you, you ask? Most likely fecal matter. That's right. Fecal matter from your bum travels up your urethra and causes a urinary tract infection and left untreated can cause a bladder infection. Why would it go untreated? Because often times girls don't know why it hurts when they pee. So long story short-a lot of sex (because of the rubbing) can move fecal partials from the back to the front and cause a urinary tract infection. You add bum play into that equation and it's a sure recipe for a UTI. Moral of the story. Always pee after sex. Also it's not that serious. A couple rounds of antibiotic, and laying off riding the pony for a week and you're fine.

Not likely the right diagnosis, folks! I had a kidney infection and was hospitalized for 10 days and then had to have home infusion of major antibiotics..and yes my immune system is normal (HIVneg, etc). My experience is typical the doctors say. She would not have been discharged after a day or two— she'd be barfing and writhing in pain for over a week with a fever of maybe 103. Maybe she had a lower urinary (bladder) infection..or something they're trying to conceal…

Ugh this really does happen!! Happened to me last summer. I was travelling and didn't drink enough water in a hot climate. Got severely dehydrated and developed a serious kidney infection for which I had to be hospitalized. Who knows, maybe her kidneys are weaker due to her past anorexia. But it does happen. And it is really, REALLY not pleasant.

I have had both a kidney infection and a kidney stone and both are EXTREMELY painful, not to mention something to be taken seriously. With a kidney infection, you have to take strong antibiotics, else the infection could worsen to the point where you you could get blood poisoning (sepsis) and/or lose a kidney!

Oh come one Perez, I got a kidney infection last year and ended up in the hospital. I just thought my back was fucked up and BAM! Three days later and I'm screaming in pain and can't walk. It's fun; you should try it. At least for the drugs, if nothing else.
I had a good friend who had an eating disorder and she had to go to the hospital on two occasions bc of a kidney infection. They almost shut down and she almost died. this girl is still effed up
