Madonna is a strict disciplinarian!
Not only are her kids - including daughter Lourdes (above) - prohibited from watching much (if any) TV and eating junk food, but they also don't celebrate Christmas.
"We canceled Christmas a few years ago," her Madgesty's husband, Guy Ritchie, reveals. "Stopped all the presents. And ever since [we] stopped the presents, we're are actually enjoying it."
Bummer!
Hopefully their children, being raised Kabbalist, at least celebrate Hanukkah!

I personally think it's a good thing her parents are keeping her grounded and looking her own age. 11year olds shouldn't have to feel the need to groom themselves for society's standards yet. My mom refused to let me shave my legs until I was 14, and even then i just did it without asking. Perhaps Lourdes is one of those girls who doesn't feel the need to grow up fast, because her mother raised her right??

I'm sure that Madonna's daughter must celebrate Christmas with her father, Carlos DeLeon(I hope I spelled it correctly). I read somewhere that Lourdes was close with her dad and spent quite a bit of time with him. While there is nothing wrong with being raised as a Kabbalist, wouldn't DeLeon also have a say in what faith his daughter is raised? Unless he just agreed to his daughter being raised as a Kabbala when Madonna first started practicing the faith a few years back.

I hate parents that act like that with their kids. When you parent like a total fucking Nazi, it only backfires on you!! I'd hate to be her kid. I know firsthand what it's like having an over-controlling parent. It only makes a kid more rebellious to get out of the the absurdly tight control as soon as they possibly can. You end up driving your kids into doing the very things your over-controlling behaviour was trying to prevent.
