I think it's interesting that so many people keep referring to a 'race' card. White entertainers endorse white candidates all the time and I've never heard anybody consider that a 'race' card. Like it or not, politicians are advised to target certain groups.
1. Barak has the youth vote in the bag (if they vote).
2. Barak needs the African American vote (they always vote), but

Oprah was once so pro-Bush and feverish about the Iraq War and sending troops over there. Obama was ALWAYS so adamant about NOT sending troops to Iraq and his entire political platform and attack against Hillary is that he has ALWAYS been against the Iraq War. On the other hand, Oprah was very pro-Iraq War. It doesn't make any sense that now she endorses a man just because he is black and a man who she OBVIOUSLY has a different political agenda than her own. I think when you look back at Oprah's political/social stances over the last few years and then look at Obama's statements he's made (like about the Iraq war, homosexuality, finances, etc.), you'll see that he and Oprah have a lot that is not in common.

Oprah should endorse the BEST candidate who she feels will be better for this country and who is ACTUALLY more alligned with her politically and socially. Just being Black is not a good reason to endorse a candidate. What if Obama gets into office and all of a sudden he pulls out all the troops in the Mideast? Oprah has long stood for sending our troops over there since the beginning of the war. This is like a major major issue in our country and Oprah is endorsing a candidate who differs with her on this very important measure.

I was harboring between Hillary and Barack for awhile, but now that Oprah has gotten into it, I'm going with Hillary. I'm on the liberal end and these 2 are the best suited for my political viewpoints. I was going to go with Barack but then I heard about all that stuff in Chicago with his illegal financing with a guy named Rezko - who is charged with a bunch of federal crimes. Then Oprah came into the picture and although I watch her show, I agree that she only wants him because he is black. Hillary is far more liberal and has been all her life. She has more experience. The only nod I was giving Barack was his anti-Washington ideas. But now that I see he is trying to turn this into a Black v. They look a lot alike and Beulla has a thing for the other girls too…but anyway…We all love the fabulous show of food Beulla puts on the table, but we'd no more listen to her political opinions than the man in the moon. I think this is true for this Oprah person as well. People watch her totally plebian afternoon show, because what else are they gonna watch in the afternoon. I mean those court shows and other talk shows are even worse then hers, so I think that explains her popularity. Besides she gives things away…so TOTALLY LOWER CLASS…and that gets the masses to watch. But HONESTLY…Do any of her pea-brained viewers really pay ANY attention to her actual opinions? I feel sure they don't as 99% of her audience has the attention span of APES…OOPS…was that racist ? Well it may be, but it's the TRUTH none the less.
Hell no, I don't give a damn what Oprah thinks. She doesn't sway me in anyway. Besides Barack is not going to win. Obama sounds too much like Osama.

Sorry I get all confused when I think about Oprah and Gayle going at it!) are the key to Christmas Joy! I thought this might interest you: I was THERE, a few years back, when they wouldn't let Oprah in to the Hermes Boutique on the Cote D'Azur. Well no wonder–she had on not a stitch of makeup and was wearing a warm-up suit that Jodie Foster had recommended. I'm sure your dear Buella looks better when she's serving at table! I of course was in one of my classic Pucci dresses so was whisked right in and promptly purchased a Birkin and a Kelly bag on my black American Express, not to mention several ties for my hunky white boyfriend who is hung like Gayle's customized strap-on that Dr. Anhalt of Switzerland designed for her.
I'll make my own decision about who to vote for and it will have nothing to do with Ophra. She really has a big head to think that she can influence the election and she can't even control her own weight anymore. She would do better to clean up the mess in the school in Africa that she left in the hands of pedifiles. Seems like she just is running from one thing to another and not doing anything very well.
