I wasn't really expecting a song like this from Ashlee… All the people on here who claim to "hate" it so much probably deep down like it, and have it stuck in their heads… I know this girl wasn't much in the past but DAMN, she deserves some credit.
She took a step in a new direction and it was definetly the right one… This is Blondie meets Madonna meets Gwen… 80s meets Poprock… The hook is so catchy, almost infectious…

Okay…so, I like Ashlee Simpson. I've seen her in concert twice (and no, she wasn't lip-synching) and own both of her albums. Ashlee ~ this is the 21st century!!! That song sounded like it came from the '80s (and I know this is what everyone else has said). But, seriously! WTF?! She could've come up with something WAY better, especially with Timbaland. You know, I will give this song one credit: while many bands and singers in recent years have looked heavily to the 80s for the sound, this is THE ONE song by a major artist that genuinely sounds like it came from 1983… like you discovered a random cassette in a used music store. Most other bands and singers like the Killers rely on an updated sound of the 80s.
