Ashley Tisdale got a nose job!
The High School Musical actress says she was having trouble breathing and didn't get the procedure done for cosmetic reasons.

"Growing up I always knew I had a deviated septum on the right side of my nose, which caused trouble breathing," The Tiz tells People. "The older I got, the worse it got. I went to get it checked out, and the doctor told me the septum was 80 percent deviated and that I had two small fractures on my nose."
Of the just done procedure, she says: "I'm not feeling great today. It's uncomfortable and I hope this is the only time I ever have to go through something like this. I was completely scared. I wasn't looking forward to the surgery at all. I actually had trouble sleeping for a week before."
Emphasizing one more time that she didn't get her nose job because she was unhappy with the way it looked, Ashley says, "I didn't do this because I believe in plastic surgery. I did this to help my health. I literally almost could not breathe out of the right side of my nose. I want my fans to know the truth. I'm not someone who is going to act like I had nothing done. I just want to be honest because my fans are everything to me."

i broke my nose so many times as i child that i got to the point that i couldn't breath through my nose while i was sleeping. so when i was 13 i had the Rhinoplasty surgury. my nose didn't change at all, nor did i want it to. it fixed my nose, not 100%, but good enough. these surgeries are possible for medical reason.
So, I've never known anyone in my personal life who's ever had to have rhinoplasty because of a deviated septum. I don't think I've ever actually known anyone in person that's HAD a deviated septum!!

If it comes up in conversation i dont lie about it but i make sure i explain that i was dangerously unhappy with how i looked.

Eh, time will tell how much work she had done. I had a septoplasty last year (deviated septum surgery) and my nose looked exactly the same after as it did before - they do nothing to the outside of your nose. NOTHING. I was 100% deviated (full blockage) so I had to have some serious reconstruction done… and still, not one bit of difference to the outward appearance. So if there is a single celebrity out there who gets a nose job and blames it on a deviated septum, they're lying.

Amazing, the girl has deviated septum, and gets it fixed. Then gets slammed by a bunch of assholes in this blog for 1) exposed nipple 2) nose surgery. This is not a fun operation. Best to have corrected. The older you get w/ deviated septum, the more the cartledge grows, eventually blocking nasal passage. If not corrected, sinus's end up staying infected, and person stays sick all of the time. I know, had same surgery a few years back. Another major problem after surgery, they only give you pain pills for 7 to 10 days. By the time medication runs out, nerves finally start re-connecting. You hurt like a bitch for 2 to 3 more weeks. Give her a break!!!!!
