Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are using their celebrity for good, and that's always a wonderful thing.
The parents-to-be launched their new Children's Foundation on Monday afternoon. They held a press conference at the Los Angeles Free Clinic in Hollywood.
Nicole and Joel donated 100 Mom-to-Be kits to the Los Angeles Free Clinic.
Hopefully they will continue to be active in their philanthropy!

I never fancied Nicole, but man, she's glowing! The pregnancy really worked its magic on her cos she's never looked better. Hopefully she learned from her reckless mistakes and has taken her first steps in becoming a more responsible human being..and a future parent.

Thats great for them, but instead of just sitting around waiting for people to donate money and items, why don't they get out there, and actually VOLUNTEER their time to a good cause! And why are they only donating to free clinics in LA? Last time I checked there are 49 other states that most likely have free clinics to that could use some help as well. If they wanted to be Brangelina, which they will never be, they would actually have to get out of LA, and go to a third world country, and help out. I don't see Nicole Richie doing that anytime soon because she's just to full of herself to care. Joel, maybe would do it.

GC is actually from my hometown. I'm not a hugeee fan, I've seen them before and I think they're decent, just not really my style. But I have respect for the band for the fact that they actually made it out of Waldorf. That's a huge accomplishment. Anyway, I thought Nicole and Joel were really weird at first, but they've actually grown on me. I'm not pissed that they're together, no matter how opposite they seem. I really hope that they will be happy and raise their child right.

I say all to them, if they can grow up finally and start a charity to mothers like that shows alot. And nicole finally putting weight on (she looks amazing) its good for her, i think that her and joel are so good together and they compliment each other and i think their both going to make great parents and nicole is going to try and keep her kid away from all the mistakes that she did.
