Amber Portwood Is Living With Her Mom & Skipped 'Teen Mom OG' Reunion After Arrest!

Amber Portwood is living with her mom!

Amber Portwood‘s living arrangements have changed amid her legal drama.

As we reported, after she allegedly assaulted boyfriend Andrew Glennon while he was holding their 1-year-old son James, the Teen Mom OG star was reportedly charged with domestic battery, criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon, and domestic battery committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old.

Following her July 6 release from jail, where a “woman unrelated to Portwood” bailed her out with a $2,000 cash bond, the MTV personality is staying at her mom Tonya’s house — per an Us Weekly source on Monday.

Referencing her 14-month-old son, the insider added:

“She really misses James.”

In regards to her relationship with her boyfriend — who she must stay away from per a no-contact order — a different Us Weekly source on Friday remarked:

“There were things going on between her and Andrew that led to this… For the most part, it has been good, but lately a few issues have popped up that have made her question things and challenge her trust in him. She has been through a lot. She just wants to be able to trust someone, and there have been major issues.”

Though Glennon is seeking full custody of their child, a third insider on Monday told the publication he “doesn’t want her to go to jail,” adding:

“The charges against Amber are big but it’s likely they’ll get pled down… Amber and Andrew are still not allowed to communicate. Not until the next court date. But the situation seems to have calmed down a bit.”

On Monday, the publication noted the reality TV starlet skipped the Teen Mom OG season 8 reunion taping.

A fourth source divulged:

“Amber’s trying to get things together in her life and she wasn’t able to attend… She’s dealing with the situation and her most important thing is her family.”

However, her ex Gary Shirley — with whom she shares 10-year-old daughter Leah — was in attendance.

“Gary was asked about the situation and he was very diplomatic…They have a nice relationship now.”

Despite her absence, the third insider said she “hasn’t been threatened with getting fired” from the hit program, adding:

“They are waiting to see how it plays out.”

As we wrote last week, according to a People report, Portwood — who has been open about her struggles with addiction — did not relapse despite her legal troubles.

Per the insider:

“The situation is a little more complicated than what’s been reported. There was an argument that escalated and now they aren’t allowed to communicate… There were no drugs involved.”
