Did you think a blackout in New York City would stop Cardi B and Offset from throwing down for their daughter Kulture‘s first birthday?
Previously, the I Like It rapper shared she and her husband would be sparing no expense for their little one’s big milestone, even dropping $100k on a blinged out baby necklace, so it’s no surprise the party was over the top. Kulture takes “born to flex” to a whole new level!!

The 26-year-old and her daughter rocked matching outfits designed by Jeremy Scott of Moschino to the bash, all to match the “Onederful” rainbow theme:

Despite the happy photos, the tot’s big day was rocked by something other than her parents’ music — the blackout which took out power from the west side of Manhattan on Saturday night.
The Grammy-winner explained in a video on Instagram that a power outage couldn’t keep the crew from getting “lit” to celebrate her daughter:
“Hi guys! So I just want to say thank y’all so much for coming to Kulture’s birthday party ’cause it was y’all that made it lit. It was so lit… Let me tell y’all something. Y’all made it lit because the fact that when I got there the lights went off in the party, it was, like, a whole hour with no lights, no music, but it was still lit. And then when we got a power generator to turn the music and some lights on, it got lit again. But with no air conditioner, so we was literally melting, but people was still dancing, having fun.”
No A/C?! That’s dedication!
The momma continued:
“And then the lights came completely back on, but then they came right back off when we was about to cut the cake. And then they cut the lights back on and nobody wanted to leave. And it’s ’cause of y’all. And it was such a fun party. Thank you so much.”
Our invite seems to have been lost in the mail. LOLz! Looks like it was a very special party for a special girl!!
