A few years ago, Jennifer Garner helped Halle Berry pass California state legislation making it illegal for paparazzi to harass minors with famous parents!
During her testimony for the anti-papz bill, the actress told the committee that her son Samuel was terrified of the shutterbugs and flashing lights when ambushed by photographers.
Garner admitted that before the bill passed, 6 paparazzi cars were parked outside their home every day — and up to 15 to 20 cars on weekends!
While the legislation "has made things better," the actress said she and her children are still regularly followed and photographed — and her now 4-year-old son does not love all the attention.
The famous momma told the TV doctor every time her son sees the papz, he says:
At least Ben Affleck knows when to give a compliment!
On Sunday, Ben couldn't stop gushing about Jennifer Garner's mothering skills at the New York City premiere of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The shower of compliments comes on the heels of Jen's revealing and emotional Vanity Fair article about the pair's July divorce and friendly run in at the Oscars. Given the recent positivity, we're not too surprised that the actor thinks the world of his ex!
Dishing to E! News, Mr. Affleck said of Garner's "amazing" mommy expertise:
Lauren Weedman is opening up about discovering that her husband David was allegedly having an affair with their son Leo's 18-year-old babysitter. The actress didn't find out about the betrayal until after their split.
After an 11-year relationship, Miz Weedman and David decided to call it quits, but were successfully co-parenting their son when she discovered the inappropriate relationship.
In a story she penned for the New York Post, Weedman shared:
"So when David accidentally left his laptop at my place, I didn't think anything of turning it on. The computer had once belonged to me, and I wanted to make sure I hadn't left any important videos — such as Leo's birth — behind. But the oldest video on David's computer wasn't one of Leo splashing in the bathtub. It was of our babysitter, Simone, sans clothes — and it was dated 2011, a year before David and I had even gotten married."
The Looking star described herself as the "primary breadwinner" in the marriage, and said her ex stayed at home with Leo and his other son from another relationship.
The 47-year-old said it was David who suggested hiring help:
"When Leo was 1, David recommended we hire Simone, an 18-year-old aspiring actress whom he mentored. She would show up in low-cut tops and miniskirts, but I thought that was just because girls are so overly sexualized in Southern California. When a friend of mine told me that she had spotted them together in the street, I assumed that they were discussing her career."
She describes their breakup:
That's why it was so great to see the brunette beauty having some fun when she stopped by The Tonight Show Wednesday night and played a game of Truth or Door with Jimmy Fallon and Cuba Gooding Jr.!
While Jennifer got off easy only having to hold some frozen water balloons, Cuba had to dress up as a cowboy and Jimmy got his face painted — after dodging a question about losing his virginity!
Oh, what could have been…

While the former Hollywood couple has been working through their problems for their kids, they are still frequently asked about their divorce as Garner opened up to Vanity Fair last month, and Ben chatted with Ellen DeGeneres on Wednesday.
Well, Jennifer had to address her family troubles once again when she stopped by TODAY on Wednesday to help promote her new film Miracles From Heaven.
The 43-year-old actress talked about the difficulties of the role in her movie before dishing a bit about working through her problems in her own life — and making her family life work with her ex.

The most impressive thing about the former couple is how friendly they seem to be towards each other for the sake of their kids.
While Ben already chatted a bit about his thoughts on Jennifer's candid interview with Vanity Fair about their split, the 43-year-old actor stopped by Ellen DeGeneres' talk show on Wednesday to dish about his family, his upcoming film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice — oh, and to get both scared AND hit in the face with a pie!
Not only did the Hollywood hunk talk about staying together for the kids, but he also dished on how his son Samuel Garner Affleck, thinks his dad goes to the Batcave when he goes to work. Awww!

Jennifer Garner is class and grace personified!
The actress has put aside all that divorce drama to focus on her new film Miracles From Heaven, attending the Miami premiere on Monday.
She looked like a member of the most exclusive yacht club in a crisp white A-line dress, Anita Ko jewels, and blue strappy sandals, with skin as smooth as a twenty year old's.
And when she smiled, you know it set every person's heart to fluttering!
Oh, to bask in her warmth!
