That was a fun little performance by 5 Seconds of Summer!
5SOS followed up Maroon 5 on Thursday night's People Magazine Awards, and we think they might have sounded just a bit better than the Adam Levine-led band.
Sorry ’bout it!
The Australian lads stuck with their popular cover of What I Like About You, and it sounded pretty much like it does on the radio, which makes us think they're pretty good live!
We still don't love that there were only two musical acts in the entire first hour, but we'll take
live live-to-tape music any day!

Okay, we know…
They didn't techinically kick the night off, but after a rather awkward introduction to the inaugural People Magazine Awards on NBC, Maroon 5 were eventually called on stage to sing their hit song Animals!
Seriously, the Thursday night showing didn't even have an opening number!
And while we're sure Adam Levine sounded great live, for us at-home viewers, the sound mixing was just a little off.
That's not to say the drums didn't sound great, though!

Luckily Adam Levine is one brave man, because at Monday night's party celebrating the Top Five remaining Voice contestants, that's just what he did!
And with only an acoustic guitar!
See the Maroon 5 frontman like you never have before (below)!
For her Birthday video, Katy Perry posed as a children's entertainer.
Maroon 5 have one-upped Katy by crashing a wedding!
A newlywed couple was shocked this weekend when the band at their reception turned out to be Adam Levine and company!
The Animals group got all dolled up in their wedding best and performed a few songs — including perfect wedding tune She Will Be Loved — for the surprised wedding party!
So why the crash?
Sounds like one romantic video! Can't wait!

We love us a surprise mashup!
Maroon 5 was one of the musical guests on CBS's A Very Grammy Christmas on Friday, and they didn't just perform one song, they did three!
That could totally be Behati Prinsloo's alias if she so chooses because her mile-long legs are just out of this world!
The supermodel's stems were the focal point of all three of her looks during the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show — from the pale blue lingerie and seafoam green "skirt" of her "Fairy Tale" segment outfit to the "Gilded Angels" look that opened the show.
But nowhere else did Adam Levine's wife's pins look more beautiful than in the finale for "Angel Ball" where her short tulle skirt and t-strap heels made them appear even longer!
It must take her forever to shave! Ha!
Thanks for gracing us with your gorgeous presence, B!
