Alanis debuted her shiny new song Guardian on Dancing With The Stars Tuesday night, and although she didn’t fox-trot along to her own beat, the show provided its own complementing dance number.

First Fiona Apple gets back in the music biz, and now the lady with one hand in her pocket Alanis Morrisette has announced the August release of new album, Havoc and Bright Lights.
And we have an ethereal taste of what's to come!
Her new track Magical Child twinkles with a soft, dappling of electronic chimes and makes us feel like we're floating serenely through the stars!
The tune sounds VERY different from her feministic alt-rock days, and while we LOVE us some Ironic up in here, we are kinda digging' this transcendental feel, too.
