It's a star studded lunch in Cabo!

Continuing their Mexican vaycay, George Clooney and gal pal Stacy Keibler grabbed lunch with Cindy Crawford and Alex Rodriguez yesterday.

Cindy was with hubby Rande Gerber, leaving A-Rod as the fifth wheel.

We think he'll be okay, though.

Katie Couric: The Author!

katie-couric-to-release-book-of-advice

We'd definitely be curious to see what kind of advice she finds valuable!

Katie Couric has announced that she plans to release her first book in April, called The Best Advice I Ever Got. Lessons From Extraordinary Lives, which she describes as a resource on "how to find passion in your work."

According to the news anchor, she decided to compile the novel after giving the graduation address at Case-Western Reserve University in Cleveland, and gathered insight from people like filmmaker Ken Burns, author Joyce Carol Oates, Chelsea Handler, baseball player Alex Rodriguez, and former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright!

She explains:

"I started to think it might be nice to cast a wider net, to reach out to a host of accomplished people in various fields. I know there are a lot of books out there with different pieces of advice, but I don't know if there is anything quite like this out there. Some [essays] are maybe four or five pages long. Some are maybe two lines. I'm going to be out there selling; I'll be on Des Moines Tonight; I'll be everywhere because I want the book to do well to raise money for the scholarships. I don't really consider this my book. It's a collection, and I'm sort of the overseer. I hope one day I will have the time and the self-discipline to write a book, because I think my life has been far more interesting than I ever anticipated and certainly has had all sorts of good and bad things transpire."

Sounds like such a nice compilation! And for such a good cause, too!

Job well done! We'll definitely want to pick ourselves up a copy!

Thoughts??

Doubt there's too many fans as devoted as Jay-Z!

Jay went to cheer on the Yankees two days in a row. Yesterday, he watched the Yankees take on the Tampa Rays in style from Alex Rodriguez's VIP box.

The devoted rapper came prepared for the match, wearing a very fancy NY Yankees World Series replica ring, as well as a Yankees cap with the following personalized inscription:

"I made the Yankee hat more famous than a Yankee can"

No wonder he gets access to A-Rod's VIP box!

Don't you feel so special, Cameron Diaz!

We kid, we kid. We're talking actual home runs…like in baseball.

This morning, Alex Rodriguez became the youngest player to hit 600 home runs. He belted one over the fence against Toronto at Yankee Stadium.

Congrats, bb!

Tiger Is Still America's Richest Athlete

ap0803201531842.jpg

Despite the cheating scandal, Tiger Woods is still the highest-earning athlete in the world, according to Sports Illustrated's Fortunate 50 list!

Tiger has raked in $90 million this past year - $20 million in sports winnings for 2009 and $70 million in endorsement deals for 2010.

And he isn't even in his prime anymore! Tiger is making $22 million less in endorsement money than last year.

Woods is followed by Phil Mickelson with $62 million, Floyd Mayweather Jr. ($60 million), LeBron James ($46 million) and Alex Rodriguez with $37 million.

Pretty impressive.
