Congrats, Amy Heckerling!!

Her brand new zany take on the vampire craze just scored itself a North American distribution deal!!

VAMPS, which stars her Clueless confidante Alica Silverstone will be channeled through Anchor Bay.

Kevin Kasha, EVP of acquisitions and co-productions for AB Films states:

Alicia Silverstone has no regrets.

No regrets whatsoever.

After she posted pics (above) and a video of her feeding her 11-month-old son Bear Blu mouth-to-mouth, she got a lotta heat about how sanitary her feeding method was.

The Clueless star defends her video though, saying:

"People have been feeding their kids that way for thousands for years. It's a weaning process. He attacks my mouth and I think it's adorable … it makes me laugh every time he does it. He also knows how to use his hands and he also eats regular food. When babies are weaning, he still breastfeeds. Some people think that's disgusting too, which is insane.

Honestly, when I posted the video I was not thinking, so maybe I was like [Clueless character] Cher!"

She's just a protective momma bear who's protecting her cub.

Guess we can't blame her!

The late night host has gotten parents to terrorize their children, yet again!

He's asked parents to tape them telling their kids they ate all their Halloween candy, unwrapping crappy Christmas gifts, and NOW he's gotten parents to send in footage of them trying to "Silverstone" their kids!!

What's Silverstoning, you ask? WELL, it's chewing up food then feeding it to your child -- just like Alicia Silverstone did!

Alicia Silverstone posted the (above) picture from a video of her 11-month-old son's feeding time.

And it doesn't look strange at all.

Nope. The picture doesn't look like Alicia is basically making out with her son or anything like that.

Here's the deal. According to Alicia, she actually feeds Bear Blu by chewing his food and then transferring the mushy chunks from her mouth to his.

Read how she describes the process. Gross.

"I feed Bear the mochi and a tiny bit of veggies from the soup…from my mouth to his. It's his favorite...and mine. He literally crawls across the room to attack my mouth if I'm eating. This video was taken about a month or 2 ago when he was a bit wobbly. Now he is grabbing my mouth to get the food!"

Well, guess what?

Turns out, this isn't exactly the safest idea, according to medical and nutrition experts.

"There are those who think that a mom chewing a baby's food provides helpful enzymes from her mouth but it doesn't seem like a hygienic practice. Various viruses and bacteria, but especially herpes virus, may be passed from mother to baby. These microbes present a challenge that the infant's immune system may not be ready for. So the practice is questionable for safety, and then, there's a certain ick factor here that needs to be considered."

Oh, trust us. We're definitely considering that "ick factor."

As we've reported, Alicia Silverstone and her Clueless co-star, Jeremy Sisto, have reunited for the latter's new comedy Suburgatory, as she's guest-starring in the season's final four episodes, and the two were snapped on set together recently by creator Emily Kapnek!

Hollywood starlets aren't the only people who are taking on alternative diets to stay healthy.

Now, their children are being forced inheriting the new "unusual eating habits" fad so that they can become even pickier eaters!

Kourtney Kardashian is one celeb mom who chooses to remove wheat, nuts, and meats from her 2-year-old son Mason's diet.

And it all started when Kourt realized that Mason was allergic to peanut butter and he began to break out in hives.

She says:

"Friday night Mason ate some peanut butter and had a little allergic reaction to it. He threw up within minutes of tasting it and got hives on his face. I called 911, and the fire department came immediately. They suggested that we take him to the hospital, so we did. He was in good spirits the whole time and didn't even know anything was wrong. He even enjoyed riding in the ambulance. He's such a good boy!"

Aww, poor Masey! Glad he's okay now.

Other celeb mommas who are giving their children alternative diets include Alicia Silverstone who is vegan.

She speaks about giving her son Bear a plant-based diet:

"Bear was grown on vegan food, and we'll continue nourishing him with a healthy diet. He'll be eating an organic, plant-based diet. I intend to take great care of his precious, new baby body, so I'm committed to giving him nothing but the purest and most healthy food possible. We want to keep his immune system strong so that he'll be super healthy, which is just one of the many reasons he'll eat vegan."

And Madonna feeds her son Rocco Ritchie a vegetarian, macrobiotic, organic diet that is identical to what she feeds herself.

Hollywood tots are definitely eating a whole more different than what the average child is eating. Of course, children should be eating healthy, especially during their most formative years, but are some moms going too far??
