It's been almost three years since the Complicated singer has performed in public, leading to all sorts of rumors — replaced by a doppelgänger? Really?? — but now girl is definitively making her comeback.
Following the announcement of her first new album since 2013, the Canadian songstress also took the stage over the weekend with for a surprise performance with ex Chad Kroeger!
Thankfully she shared a bit of the magical moment on Instagram, so you can see Avril join in on Nickelback's 2005 hit Rockstar (below):
On Thursday, the songstress revealed to her fans via Twitter that a new album is in the works, and she's even been posting pics from the studio (above) to prove it!
Mostly because the animated film gives a fresh take on all our fave fairytale princesses, played by Avril Lavigne (Snow White) and Ashley Tisdale (Cinderella), and G.E.M. (Sleeping Beauty) — who all have their eyes on the same Prince!
If that's not everything a 2007 audience could ask for, the three will be singing a catchy AF song written by Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump!
The twisted tail follows Lenore (Lovato) trying to save Prince Philippe Charming (Valderrama) from a curse that makes him irresistible to literally every woman in the land.
It might be awkward now that the two have broken up IRL, but not every fairytale has a happy ending!
Ch-ch-check out the trailer (below) and keep an ear out for the new song Trophy Boy!
You may remember a couple years ago when rumors surfaced that Avril Lavigne had died and a lookalike was parading around in her place… and now the conspiracy theory is back in full swing!
Someone on Twitter created a thread making a case for the theory — and people can't seem to get enough of it!
The story goes that the When You're Gone singer hired a person named Melissa Vandella to distract paparazzi, but when she killed herself in 2003, Melissa took her place altogether.
Seems like a bunch of BS to us, but the theory has since gone viral AGAIN!
As we reported, 50 Cent performed a show at the Baltimore Soundstage when a female fan aggressively pulled him off stage! The rapper was seen throwing a punch, as a way to free himself from her grasp.
Ultimately, the In Da Club artist invited the woman to twerk on stage, officially ending the drama.
However, this isn't the first time a fan has overstepped his or her boundaries! From Britney Spears to Avril Lavigne, being an international music star can be a really dangerous profession!
