Their name kind of hides the fact that we're always hot to hear this band!
Coldplay recently performed at the BBC Music Awards this past Thursday, and they nailed every aspect of their performance!
Especially when they played their hit song A Sky Full Of Stars!!!
This band is WAY too good to ever stop, but if they do — it'll be shows like this one that will cement their legacy!

Chris Martin didn't seem like he was sweating his breakup from Jennifer Lawrence as he really did a bang up job with the vocal work here!
We guess his music is more important than any lady in his life!
And what music it is!!!

This is some seriously terrible news!
Chris Martin gave an interview with BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe on Friday Dec. 5 when he announced some sad Coldplay news.
Well, he DID reveal some good news too, but it was mostly bad.
Gwyneth Paltrow's estranged husband revealed the name of their next album will be A Head Full of Dreams but he also said like the Harry Potter books (seriously) the band's seventh album would be their last.
The band are retiring?!? Well, not exactly.
Remember that time you got into a bike accident and had to get Gene to fill in for you at work for a week?
Well, when you're Bono, you can't get just any temp.

So when the injured U2 frontman needed a replacement to perform at the surprise (RED) concert in NYC, he found some superb substitutes!
First, Chris Martin of Coldplay filled in with the perfect tone!
Then, after performances by Carrie Underwood and Kanye West, "U2 Minus 1" shocked the Times Square audience with none other than The Boss himself Bruce Springsteen!
See all the performances — and Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama too — in the full concert video (below)!
It's no secret Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow have a pretty good relationship with each other — the two still spend time together after their "conscious uncoupling" for crying out loud!
This past weekend the pair was spotted in good spirits in both Dallas, Texas and New York.

The Coldplay singer reportedly showed up to his ex-wifey's book signing at a Goop pop-up store and tried to keep a low profile so he wouldn't distract from Gwyneth's day!
An eyewitness revealed the singer stayed behind a curtain during the signing and didn't engage with the crowd! How sweet of him!
Now this is an answer we never, EVER expected to hear!
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin was discussing who and what may have inspired the band's most recent album and the answer is totally NOT what we expected!
We were waiting to hear some Gwyneth Paltrow mentions or maybe even a Jennifer Lawrence reference or two, but it turns out it was another totally different star!
If you're thinking Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin have officially broken up, and that you might have a chance with either of them now that they're single, this story is bound to upset you.

Well, at least a little.
According to sources, the two split up on October 27th, but Katniss was spotted at Chris' home the same day…for several hours.
Hmmm we wonder what (potentially physical) activity they were doing that would take…several hours.
Then, she returned three nights later on Thursday! And then again on Saturday she was spotted driving to his house! What in Panem is going on?
Get ready to have your minds blown. One source claims that the two actually haven't split:
