It's pretty impressive that Colin Firth chose a role involving a sport he knew NOTHING about!
That's right! Even though he had no idea how to play golf and quickly found out that golf what's the sport for him, he delivered his performance anyway! We bet his awkwardness with it doesn't even shine through, though! THAT's a professional actor!
Here's what he said about it:
Sounds like somebody better start brushing up on her Cockney accent!
My Fair Lady is ready to make its return to Broadway, and Clive Davis already has his leading cast members in mind!
Just two weeks ago, we told you how Clive wants to revive and produce the musical on Broadway, for the first time in 20 years!
He hopes to have the show hit the stage in 2014 and is looking to have Anne Hathaway play the infamous role of Eliza Doolittle and Colin Firth to play Henry Higgins!
While both Hathaway and Firth have starred in musicals on the silver screen, neither of them have starred in a production on the Great White Way!!
We think both are pretty good picks — especially Anne!
It would be fun to see her channel her inner Audrey Hepburn and even seek out Julie Andrews for some Eliza-esque tips!

It's time to squeeze into those tummy-taming knickers and lament about BOYS cause Wanton Sex Goddess Bridget Jones is returning in book form for a THIRD installment in the super successful series!!
BJD author Helen Fielding is currently writing the novel, and recently said of her efforts:
"I'm having a lot of fun and it's very funny and it's making me laugh."
The book will hopefully be out by the end of 2013.
But waiiiiit a minute here… isn't there already a third Bridget Jones MOVIE in the works starring original cast members Renee Zellweger, Hugh Grant, and Colin Firth?!
Well, as far as we know, YES the film WILL eventually happen, but perhaps the peeps behind production are holding off until the third book gets released! You know, for consistency's sake.
Either way we're sure both creations will focus on BABIEZ now that Bridget has her manz situation under control!
Alcohol Baby formula units? Thouuuuusannnnds.
Wow! This means NONE of Anne Hathaway's Devil Wears Prada costars were at her nuptials. Ouch!
Stanley Tucci and Felicity Blunt have been legally married for months, but they finally celebrated their love with friends and family in a lavish London ceremony over the weekend.
Before walking down the aisle on Saturday, the couple enjoyed dinner and drinks with their closest friends and family at the Shoreditch House.
Guests seen arriving included bridesmaid Emily Blunt and her hubby John Krasinksi, along with actors Aaron Paul, Oliver Platt, Tony Shalhoub, Alan Rickman, comedian Jimmy Carr and best man Steve Buscemi.
Other names on the guest list for Tucci and Blunt's big day included a long list of Hollywood heavyweights like Meryl Streep,
Ooo! You charm those Brits with that sweet, Southern drawl of yours, Cammie!
HIGHlarious, 1966 heist film Gambit, originally starring Shirley MacLaine and Michael Caine, has endured a slick makeover courtesy of the legendary Joel and Ethan Coen…
And it looks even MORE fun than its original, comedic romp!
Ch-ch-check out the first official trailer for Gambit starring Cameron Diaz, the awkwardly charming Colin Firth, and
Professor Snape Alan Rickman (above)!
Can we just say, this trailer contains an unusual amount of nudity… and we LOVE IT!!
A pants-less Colin, a balls out Alan, AND Cameron in full t & a glory? Who WOULDN'T want to see this movie!
This cast is really rounding out nicely, isn't it?!
Reese Witherspoon and Colin Firth have already signed on to appear in Devil's Knot, the Atom Egoyan-directed flick which tells the true story of the West Memphis 3, three teens wrongly convicted and imprisoned for the murders of three young boys in 1993, and now, True Blood's very own Stephen Moyer has joined the cast!

No deals are in place yet, but sources are suggesting that Russell Crowe is in talks to
win another Oscar play Rupert Murdoch in a movie.
The proposed film is based off of a memoir by Harold Evans, a British editor who resigned from Murdoch's Sunday Times due to "unacceptable pressure."
Good Times, Bad Times documents their tense 14-year relationship along with shady dealings between the Australian media tycoon and then-Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
Although no script has been written (or writer hired, for that matter), a source has said, "You have to be brave to play someone like Murdoch. Russell can do it."
Colin Firth is rumored to be in consideration to star opposite Crowe as Evans and we hear that the film will also tackle News Corp's recent phone hacking scandal.
