Finally looks like Cynthia MAY have stopped digging herself into that hole!
To recap - last week, Cynthia Nixon revealed that being gay was a "choice" for her, and yeah…we didn't appreciate her choice of words.
Then, Cynthia opened up about her controversial comment, and in doing so she opened up a whole new can of worms by saying that nobody likes the bisexuals.
Now, Cynthia has decided to take another crack at opening up about her controversial comments. Here's what she had to say about them in a newly released statement:

Seems like she's digging herself into a deeper hole here…but at least she acknowledges the harm in using the word "choice" with regards to her sexuality.
To recap - back in 2004, Cynthia Nixon came out as a lesbian and introduced the world to her partner Christine Marinoni.
Then earlier this week, she revealed that being gay was a "choice" for her, and we weren't thrilled with her choice of words.

One minute she's saying that she chose to be gay, the next she's revealing that she's shaved her head bald for an upcoming role!
Cynthia Nixon is nothing if not surprising!
Check out that bald head, you guys!
That takes guts, especially when you're known for your head of red hair! She did it for her role in the Manhattan Theatre Club production of Wit where she plays cancer stricken poetry professor Vivian Bearing.

We knew it was too good to be true.
We told you about the gossip of Sex and the City returning to TV yesterday, and while we had our skepticism too, we still held on a little bit of hope.

Cynthia Nixon is currently appearing as a recurring guest-star on Laura Linney's Showtime series, The Big C, but she'll be the one battling cancer in the upcoming Broadway premiere of Margaret Edson's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Wit, in January of 2012!

It's been an exciting few months for Sex and the City alum Cynthia Nixon!
Last we heard from Cynthia, we were thrilled to announce that her GF Christine Marinoni gave birth to baby boy Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni!
Now, it looks like Cynthia's career is going just as well as her personal life, because she's landed a leading role in Ridley & Tony Scott's eight-hour Starz miniseries World Without End.
The show is based on Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth, and it co-stars Miranda Richardson, Ben Chaplin, and The Duchess' Charlotte Riley.
