Then, Cynthia opened up about her controversial comment, and in doing so she opened up a whole new can of worms by saying that nobody likes the bisexuals.

Seems like she's digging herself into a deeper hole here…but at least she acknowledges the harm in using the word "choice" with regards to her sexuality.

To recap - back in 2004, Cynthia Nixon came out as a lesbian and introduced the world to her partner Christine Marinoni.

Then earlier this week, she revealed that being gay was a "choice" for her, and we weren't thrilled with her choice of words.

My Carrie Bradshaw started at 33 and I took her to 40. For me the idea of going backward and making her less evolved…is something I don't even imagine doing. I am sure Candace Bushnell did a great job on them (the books) but I have no connection to a prequel.

It's been an exciting few months for Sex and the City alum Cynthia Nixon!

Last we heard from Cynthia, we were thrilled to announce that her GF Christine Marinoni gave birth to baby boy Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni!

Now, it looks like Cynthia's career is going just as well as her personal life, because she's landed a leading role in Ridley & Tony Scott's eight-hour Starz miniseries World Without End.

The show is based on Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth, and it co-stars Miranda Richardson, Ben Chaplin, and The Duchess' Charlotte Riley.
