Such a nice way to honor him, we think.

Starting today, SiriusXM’s BPM Channel will air a weekend-long tribute to the late, great DJ A.M. The station will run tons of DJ AM’s own work, including many of his best mixes, such as “Elton Mixes,” “Banana Split Mixes,” “Fix Your Face Volumes 1 & 2,” as well as some previously unheard and unreleased mixes.

Fans will also hear a series of tributes to DJ AM from his friends, including Steve Aoki, DJ Vice, A-Trak and more.

For someone who really appreciated music the way he did, we bet he'd think this was pretty rad!

More money problems for the late DJ AM.

The executors of Adam Goldstein have been hit with a bill by officials at the State of California Franchise Tax Board, asking for more than $88,000 in unpaid taxes from 2006 and 2007.

Goldstein passed away on August 28, 2009 and reportedly had assets worth up to $4 million, however, his debts totaled to $2.9 million.

Even in death, you can't escape paying your taxes.

A Foul Lawsuit Against DJ AM

Filed under: Legal Matters > DJ A.M.

Rest in peace no longer, DJ AM. Apparently, your place stinks!

A former neighbor of the now dearly departed DJ is suing the star's estate, claiming that a piece of property owned by AM smelled so bad, it literally made other people sick.

The neighbor, Isaac Toveg, filed his suit with the L.A. County Superior Court and claims that while he lived near the deceased star, he often noticed a "gaseous foul odor and/or smell" emitting from the property from a broken sewer line. Toveg claims that when he would go outside, he would "experience problems in breathing and stomach ailments and would become severely ill." He even has documentation proving he was diagnosed with Helicobacter pylori.

Okay, that sucks, but shouldn't you have said something a little earlier. Like, before the poor guy passed away.

Well, supposedly, according to Isaac's suit, he did tell AM about the problem, but it was ignored. Now he wants $25k in damages.

Jenni Weinman, a rep for AM's estate, was quick to respond to the lawsuit, saying:

"It’s ironic that this suit was filed so close to the year anniversary of Adam's passing. I am sure that any issues regarding the drainage system or sewer pipes in the neighborhood are more of a city maintenance issue as opposed to a DJ AM estate issue.”

Hmm, that is kind of sketchy.

Also, has it really been a whole year almost?! Wow….sad.

DJ AM's Mom Says Club Promoters Exploited Son's Name

DJ AM's mother Andrea Gross has filed a $1 million lawsuit against YTK Investments, LLC, claiming that they've used her son's name to promote their venues while also refusing to hand over his share of the profits.

DJ AM aka Adam Goldstein became part-owner of one of their Vegas nightclubs LAX back in 2005 and had a contract with the company that stated he would receive 45.5% of YTK's profits and also granting executives a "limited, non-exclusive licence to use Mr. Goldstein's name and likeness" to promote the club.

Gross filed papers at the Los Angeles Superior Court this past week, citing a breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, misappropriation of likeness and unfair business damages.

DJ AM Cameo In Iron Man 2

wenn2376942am__opt.jpg

The late Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein is one of the celebrities making a cameo appearance in the upcoming film Iron Man 2.

Director Jon Favreau explained his decision to keep the scene in the film after Adam's death:

"We tried to make it respectful, and for people who know him, they'll get a kick out of it and for people who don't, it will sort of slide by without much notice. I was just a fan of his, just an admirer of his work, and it was supposed to be a one-day bit. But Robert [Downey, Jr.] took a real shine to him, as we all did. His energy was amazing, he was such a inspiring guy and there was a lot of depth to him and this positive energy.

"He ended up staying on with us for about a week and it was just great;, we set up this turntable and between takes he would give me pointers. Our heart goes out to his family and friends and we hope what we've done is pleasing to them and to the many, many people who held Adam in high regard."

Such lovely and sincere sentiments — we're looking forward to seeing the scene!

Iron Man 2 comes to theaters on April 30.

Aviation Company Places The Blame Elsewhere In DJ AM Plane Crash

wenn5302366am.jpg

Even though DJ AM's estate settled their suit against Global Exec Aviation this past winter, the plane operation company responsible for the crash that injured AM and Travis Barker and killed four others, has slapped a suit against the plane's manufacturers.

Global Exec Aviation and ITAS Inc. are seeking more than $1 million from Learjet and Bombardier, stating in the legal docs that the aircraft had "unreasonably dangerous defects" before the horrendous crash.

Go get 'em!
