Demi Moore Will Mother Elizabeth Olsen In Very Good Girls

Demi Moore Elizabeth Olsen Very Good Girls

Although the last movie she played a mom in BOMBED at the box office, Demi Moore has taken on another paternal role in Very Good Girls.

She will play Elizabeth Olsen's mother in a flick about two girls trying to get banged lose their v-card the summer after high school graduation. When Dakota Fanning falls for the same guy as Olsen, however, their friendship is tested for the first time.

All three are incredible actresses, so this already has the potential to be a very good coming-of-age film.

Fun fact: Naomi Foner, the movie's writer and director, is Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal's mom! They aren't starring in it, as far as we know, but Maggie's husband Peter Sarsgaard is.

We hope this movie is very good, girls (and guy)!

Dakota Fanning Looks Lovely In Lavender

dakota-fanning-2012-met-gala__oPt.jpg

You know it's a very special occasion when Dakota Fanning styles her hair!

The NYU undergrad looked pretty at the Met Gala tonight in a Louis Vuitton tulle and organza gown.

We like the little clip in Dakota's hair, but as an overall look we're not particularly wowed.

Are U???

Dakota Fanning Dazzles In DC

Oh this is much better!

Dakota Fanning made her red carpet redemption at the White House Correspondents' Dinner tonight.

The 18 year old looked oh so pretty with a hint of sexy in a bedazzled Prada gown and silver bow heels.

Dakota didn't do anything with her hair this time, but we're happy to see she actually put on some makeup.

What do U think? Is this an improvement from Thursday night???

MGM Casts Chloe Moretz To Play The New Carrie!

Chloe Moretz Carrie

Step aside, Carrie Bradshaw!

There's a old NEW Carrie that everyone will soon be talking about!!

It looks like MGM has come to a final decision as to who'll be nabbing the lead role in Stephen King's Carrie remake, based on King's bestseller and the 1976 film!!!

And by nabbing, we mean getting buckets of pigs' blood poured on them, of course!

The studio and film's director Kim Peirce made the formal offer today to actress Chloe Moretz to play Carrie White: the shy, telepathic high schooler out for vengeance.

Dakota Fanning Is Going To Bring The Water Works In Her New Movie Now Is Good!

Oh good lord.

Get the tissues out now. We're warning you!

It appears that Dakota Fanning is taking the Mandy Moore in A Walk to Remember route for her next movie, Now Is Good, as she plays a 17 year old girl who decides to stop treating her leukemia so can she spend the rest of her limited life doing the things that she'd like to, before she passes away!

And of course, things are complicated when she falls for her neighbor, played by War Horse's Jeremy Irvine.

Check out the just-released trailer (above)!

Yeah. We're already choking back tears.

It DOES look genuinely very good and funny, on top of the obvious sads, and Dakota's pretty brilliant in everything in which she stars, so yeah!

We'll definitely be checking this out! How about U?
