So when she was a real-life guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday night, things could have been awkward…
Luckily, Amy assured Jimmy that the sketch wasn't about him!
Instead of just saying so long on Thursday night's Late Show, George Clooney refused to let Mr. Letterman leave! He even handcuffed himself to the departing host so he had to stay!
That's some straight up Fifty Shades shiz!
Man, that would have worked on us! Then again we'd probably go wherever George told us even without cold steel!
See how Dave gets out of this one (below)!
David Letterman is saying so long in style!
He's getting some great goodbyes from a bevy of stars for his final stretch of CBS' Late Show, and now we finally know who the very last one will be!
Simple. It's the same as the first!
On Wednesday May 19th, one day before his final show, Dave will welcome back for his 44th appearance… Bill Murray!
The comic genius was the first guest on Late Night With David Letterman waaaay back in 1982, so it's fitting that over three decades later, he'll finish it up!
Of course, there could be any number of surprise cameos…
Dave's final week will begin on Monday with the 60th (wow!) appearance of Tom Hanks! Will YOU be tuning in??

But we get the feeling this one will be his favorite!
The host has shared many kisses with Julia Roberts over the years, but when she stopped by Late Show for the last time on Wednesday, the pair shared a goodbye smooch that left them all behind!
Amy Schumer calls out female objectification in Hollywood once again!
The comedian aired a sketch on Inside Amy Schumer that addressed how some young female celebrities act during late night interviews!
Schumer starred as the giggly Amy Lake Blively with Bill Hader as host Cliffley! Her character flirts her way through the interview promoting Baz Luhrmann's musical remake of Blade Runner and insists she doesn't know how to sit wearing her leggy dress!
Lake's legs progressively grow more shiny and bronzed as she talks about having a crush on Cliffley, being cold, and liking comic books!
When she tells the audience how her favorite movie is Star Wars, she gets a wave of NSFW enthusiasm from the geeks in the audience! Watch the video (below)!
But it's too bad, frankly, because all of the biggest names in comedy are saying goodbye to him this month in their own emotional ways.
On Tuesday night, it was Adam Sandler's turn, and his farewell was a musical one. He sings Dave a song that's blue as in sad AND blue as in a little too raunchy for TV!
See the song that both honors Letterman and makes him blush (below)!
Everyone wants to say goodbye to David Letterman in their own way.
For Howard Stern, that means a big kiss on the lips! Unfortunately for the SiriusXM host, Dave is a bit less enthusiastic about the man-smooch on Monday night's episode of The Late Show.
See the awkward but adorable final embrace (below)!
