Between a rock and a bigoted place…
As you've probably heard by now, musical acts like Bruce Springsteen, Ringo Starr, and even Cirque du Soleil have all cancelled their upcoming shows in NC due to their anti-LGBT House Bill 2, and the former Disney stars jumped on the bandwagon last Monday.
The Future Now Tour was originally supposed to hit Charlotte and Raleigh on June 30 and July 2… but that's no longer in the cards.
Nick spoke about the difficult decision to potentially upset North Carolina fans while at the Propel pop-up fitness studio in Venice on Wednesday, saying:
Screw allergies — or at least, that's what Demi Lovato says!
Late Monday, the animal loving pop star took to Snapchat to announce that she has added yet another pet to her brood. Rather than adopting another puppy, the Stone Cold singer has taken in a Sphynx cat that she's named Hairyette. Aww!
The only problem is that Miz Lovato is TOTALLY allergic to her new, cute critter. The 23-year-old shared on the social media site:
The pop powerhouses were supposed to play shows in both Raleigh and Charlotte, but have decided to pull the plug on those performances because of the state's anti-LGBTQ legislation.
About a month ago, Governor Pat McCrory signed House Bill 2, which states that local cities and towns can no longer create their own rules banning discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity.
HB2 also says that transgender individuals must use the bathrooms that match the "biological sex" on their birth certificates in public schools, government agencies, and public college campuses.
In light of this terrible piece of legislation, the musicians announced on Monday that their Honda Civic Tour: Future Now will not be stopping in NC, sharing their joint statement on Instagram.

The Curly Sue star performed a cover of Stone Cold on Monday night's live show — a bold move considering how hard Demi Lovato has been killing it lately!
But the risk paid off as the contestant's vocals may even rival Demi's!
Ch-ch-check out the unbelievably boss performance (above)! Do YOU think she'll win??
Demi Lovato has been killing it with her vocals lately, and this is SO the perfect song choice for her!
The Heart Attack singer is singing the Gloria Gaynor disco hit I Will Survive for the upcoming Angry Birds movie, and we just cannot wait for it to fly into our music libraries!

Thursday night was a very emotional night for quite a few basketball and sports fans as it marked Kobe Bryant's very last basketball game.
The Black Mamba certainly went out in fashion as he capped off the end of his 20 year career with the Los Angeles Lakers by beating the Utah Jazz 101-96 and scoring 60 points himself in his final outing!
After the 37-year-old scored his final bucket of the night at the free line, the entire El Lay crowd was immediately on their feet. Not to mention, the famous athlete walked over and gave Shaq O'Neal a hug and, once the final buzzer went off, took center stage to give the crowd a fitting speech (below).
Kobe addressed how blessed he has been throughout his career and thanked everyone from his friends, family, and teammates… before dropping the mic with a "Mamba Out!" LOVES it!
Of course, with #24 being one of the greatest players to ever play the game, he had the world watching him. Not surprisingly, several A-lister took to Twitter to praise the now retired NBA star — including Reese Witherspoon, Kanye West, and even President Barack Obama.
