X-Men's Ian McKellen Explains What The Mutant Uprising Is A Metaphor For & His Revelation Will Make You See The Film In A Whole New Way!
Ian McKellen, a.k.a. present day Magneto, has been openly gay since 1988!
In the X-Men films, Ian's character fights on behalf of an unjustly disenfranchised group of "mutants." Well, that's no coincidence!
As it turns out, when director Bryan Singer approached the legendary actor and begged him to accept the role, he suggested that Ian view the mutants' plight as a metaphor for what the LGBT community endures in real life!

Ellen Page's Brave Move To Come Out Gets Anne Rice's Support In AH-Mazing Facebook Rant Against Conservative Christian H8rs! Read It HERE!
But along with the countless messages of support Ellen got following her announcement, there were others who were far less congratulatory!
Anne Rice knows first-hand how ugly the internet can get after someone famous comes out as gay. Miz Rice has a gay son herself (writer Christopher Rice) so she DOES NOT tolerate hate speech! The author offered her support to Ellen on her Facebook page over the weekend but was then berated by anti-gay commenters!
So she sounded off against those spouting Christian conservatism on her wall in what can only be described as an epic Anne Rice throw down!
She slammed any and all who discredited Ellen Page’s courage, saying:
OK, it's just for a movie, but still! Nice!
Ellen and Julianne have signed on to play lovers in Freeheld, an upcoming indie drama about a policewoman kept from leaving her pension to her domestic partner.
If that sounds familiar, that may be because it's based on the moving documentary short of the same name that won the Oscar in 2007.
Sounds like a real tearjerker, but also an important story of gay rights!
And Ellen is the perfect person for the part!
