This is awful!
Here's the whole story (below):
Some high profile voters in California who thought they were registering as "independent" accidentally registered as members of the American Independent Party instead!
In a recent telephone survey, the newspaper found that nearly three in four people did not realize they had joined the party — which opposes abortion rights and same sex marriage, and even calls for building a fence along the entire U.S. border.
Most of the voters took the word "independent" to mean they had no party affiliation — but in California, those who don't
Is that you, Emma Stone??
Emma and her Crazy, Stupid, Love costar Steve Carell are back, and we mean WAY back in 1973 for the upcoming film Battle Of The Sexes.
The tennis flick — set to hit theaters some time in 2017 — recounts the historic match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs, at the time the host viewed sporting event in television history.
But it will also delve deeper into the athletes' personal lives:
Nothing says "turn up!" like some heartfelt ballads from Adele!
However, the 25-year-old admittedly can't hang:
"I don't really stay out late. I'm kind of a bummer. I'm a nana. It's hard to get me out, and when I do go out I don't really stay out late. If I do stay out late and I'm partying hard, I will throw up. I don't have the tolerance to black out; I just start puking."
"Ask Emma Stone. It was the night we saw Adele in L.A. She just started rubbing my back. She was really sweet. I was like, 'Get out of here. It's so gross.'
Also present for the icky occasion was none other than Woody Harrelson, who happened to suffer an injury because of this particular puking episode. J. Law continued the story:
"Woody cut his foot. He stayed over in one of my guest bedrooms, but that's where I started puking. I broke a candle because I can't just puke like a normal person—I flay my arms everywhere. And I didn't clean it up because I'm an asshole. The next day he cut his foot open. I was like, 'Fuck, am I going to get sued?' And he's like, 'Are you going to ask if I'm okay?' That night got crazy."
Um… yeah, sounds like it!
Gotta appreciate her honesty!
What a super good combination!
Almost ten years later, both actors have become huge movie stars — triumphing in both comedic and dramatic films, and earning a few Oscar nominations along the way.
Now, it looks like the hilarious costars will share the screen once again!
It's been reported that Emma and Jonah are finalizing deals to star in the upcoming dark comedy series Maniac!
Cary Fukunaga is set to direct the comedy based on the 2014 Norwegian series — which follows a man who lives in a fantasy world in his dreams, but in reality is locked up in a mental institution.
The Paramount TV production will reportedly be seeking a straight-to-series order — possibly for two seasons — with the True Detective (Season 1, the good one) director looking to helm every episode.
Between top-notch leads, a fantastic director, and such a dark yet funny concept — we think this series will be insanely phenomenal!

Amid the #OscarsSoWhite controversy, Hollywood is being put under the microscope for its lack of minority roles!
And on Sunday's Last Week Tonight, John Oliver pointed out that even when the roles do call for non-white characters, sometimes they are still played by white actors!
In another installment of "How Is This Still A Thing?", the HBO host broke down the history of whitewashing in Hollywood, calling out films all the way from the '60s to 2016 for casting white actors to play minority characters!
The segment reminded us of Mickey Rooney's racially insensitive portrayal of a Japanese man in Breakfast at Tiffany's, all the way to Emma Stone playing a half-Chinese pilot in Aloha.
But that's not all — the clip also called out the lily white Jake Gyllenhaal's titular role in Prince of Persia: Sands Of Time.
Even newer epics like Exodus: Gods and Kings and Gods of Egypt (which is in theaters now) both had middle eastern gods, kings, and heroes being played by white actors — because producers said it would be impossible to finance otherwise!
Ch-ch-check out the funny — but sad — clip (below) to see just how bad this problem is!
Well, that didn't take long!
According to onlookers, the 32-year-old and the unknown lady spent the evening at a local pub chatting and drinking for HOURS. It seems the actor's female companion must have an awesome sense of humor because she kept him laughing late into the night!
Of course, it's always a possibility that the two are just friends.
Considering A.G. will be in town filming Angels In America for the next few months, he's going to need some local pals to keep him company!
But despite the damning evidence, we're still holding out hope for Emma and Andrew… we just loved them together!

Since the #OscarsSoWhite controversy ignited this month, tons celebs have started a dialogue about the lack of diversity in Hollywood.
And this discussion couldn't come at a worse time for Charlie Hunnam, who was just cast to play a Mexican-American drug lord in an upcoming biopic!
The Sons Of Anarchy star will take on the lead role in American Drug Lord, based on the life of Edgar Valdez Villarreal.
Often known as "La Barbie" due to his light skin, blue eyes, and blond hair, the Texas native went on to become the only U.S. citizen to possess a leadership position in the Mexican drug cartel!
But Twitter isn't too happy about the British hunk playing someone of Mexican descent — understandably so, since we're at a point where stars feel the need to protest award shows for not properly representing minority talent.
Even though Valdez Villarreal was known for his blue eyes and blonde hair, social media thinks the studio should have cast, well, NOT a British white dude to play a Mexican character!
