La La Land Almost Starred Emma Watson & Miles Teller! See Which Other Movies Almost Had Very Different Stars!

La La Land captured the hearts of millions, including the Hollywood Foreign Press Association who showered it with more Golden Globes than any movie in history!

But would they have fallen in love with the throwback musical without the chemistry of Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone??

Director Damien Chazelle has confirmed the stars previously attached during the film's six-year odyssey were Miles Teller and Emma Watson!

Miles learned drums for Chazelle in Whiplash, so we see how he could be thought of to play a jazz pianist. And Emma did go on to star in a musical, Disney's live action Beauty and the Beast. But it's so strange to think of this movie with anyone else!

Of course, La La Land isn't the first movie to completely change its leads — some at the last minute…

Since the show, the racist Republican and his maddening mouthpiece Kellyanne Conway have tried their best to shade the iconic actress… but luckily, almost all of Hollywood is in her corner!

Well, you can add one more ally to Meryl's tally, because Wendy Williams just weighed in on the controversy on her talk show Monday morning!

While praising celebs like Tracee Ellis Ross, Ryan Gosling, and Emma Stone for their wins, she simultaneously shaded Trump for his Twitter antics, saying:

Every year, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announces the films up for an Oscars — followed by the inevitable griping from fans over which actors were snubbed out of a well-deserved nomination.

This year will be no exception, as the big screen has been graced with far too many phenomenal performances in recent months for everyone to get the nod.

From Emma Stone's spellbinding performance as an aspiring actress in the musical La La Land to Denzel Washington's gripping portrayal of a self-loathing father who squashes his son's dreams in Fences, there are many solid frontrunners in this year's race.

While Deadpool and Spider-Man were busy locking lips, Andrew's ex Emma Stone had her hands full winning Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical for her work in La La Land Sunday night!

Not everyone walked away a winner from Sunday night's Golden Globes, but those who did delivered some top notch acceptance speeches.

Meryl Streep stole the show after receiving the Cecil B. DeMille award by using her speech to BLAST Donald Trump's platform of bullying and hate! AH-Mazing!

But she wasn't alone! After winning two awards for his show Atlanta — Best Actor in a Comedy and Best Comedy Series — Donald Glover thanked the city of "Atlanta, and black folks in Atlanta" for "being amazing people."

And La La Land star Emma Stone dedicated her Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy award to those who keep pursuing their dreams after getting knocked down!

Congrats to Emma Stone!

The extremely talented Emma sang and danced her way past Annette Bening for 20th Century Women, Lily Collins for Rules Don't Apply, Hailee Steinfeld for The Edge Of Seventeen, and Meryl Streep for Florence Foster Jenkins to win Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical at the Golden Globes. Bravah, Ms. Stone!

In the actress' humble speech, she profusely thanked her mom, brother Spence, "incredible friends", and fellow La La Land star Ryan Gosling AKA the "best costar a girl could ask for."

Following Em's sweet thank you list, she went on to praise La La Land as a "film for dreamers." We can't think of a better way to describe the uplifting and beautiful movie!

Stone went on to advise her audience:

"Hope and creativity are the two most important things in the world."

True dat, girl.
