When we first heard Giuliana Rancic was leaving E! News, we couldn't help but wonder why.
She did have a bit of a blunder when she said some seemingly offensive things about Zendaya, but the TV personality insists that she was not pressured into giving up her seat behind the anchor desk.

It's been a rough year for the 40-year-old. She came under fire for comments she made about Zendaya's hair on Fashion Police, which ultimately resulted in cohosts Kathy Griffin and Kelly Osbourne departing the show.

We definitely didn't see this coming!
In news we honestly never thought we'd report, Giuliana Rancic announced on Wednesday night that she would be leaving E! News!
The 40-year-old has been the head anchor for the entertainment news outlet since 2005, so her resignation is kind of a big deal.
G shared her news in an emotional statement, saying:
Kelly Osbourne might not've left Fashion Police on the best terms, but she's loving that Melissa Rivers is following in her mother's footsteps!
The daughter of the late Joan Rivers announced this month that she has signed on to co-host the show, after she remarked earlier in the year that the panel fell apart after her mom passed.

Kelly shared a similar sentiment, and was reportedly unhappy that E! decided to revamp the show after the comedian died.
But, the 30-year-old is ecstatic that Melissa will be working her way out from behind the camera into the spotlight, saying:
Another one bites the dust.
According to a source close to E! News anchor Giuliana Rancic, Brandi Glanville will not be returning to the sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a full-time cast member.

Melissa was already involved in the show as a producer, but now she'll be taking on full-time critiquing duties!
"I'm very excited to be given the opportunity to continue to work with my E! and Fashion Police family."
And so are we!
Jeff Olde, the E! network's executive vice president of programming and development, is also very happy about it:
"As an executive producer since the beginning, Melissa helped shape Fashion Police into an iconic TV series that couples fashion with comedy. We are pleased to now also feature Melissa in front of the 'Fashion Police' cameras, as she joins returning panelists Giuliana and Brad. And with the added flavor of rotating panelists, the show will deliver fresh, different and unpredictable fashion reviews with each new episode."
It's gonna be great fun, we're sure! And hopefully there won't be any more racist jokes.
