Madonna & Guy Ritchie's Custody Battle Found A Peaceful End Just In Time For Mother's Day — But Things Weren't Always So Cordial!
As you may know, the famous exes went head to head over their son Rocco when he ran away from his momma's Rebel Heart tour to his poppa's London pad at the end of last year. Oof!
Between the drama in the media and the name calling at one of Madge's concerts, things were definitely not all fine and dandy between the former flames over Rocco's living arrangements.
However, it seems the feuding has taken a positive turn as the mother of four took to Instagram and posted this on Mother's Day:
Madonna Is Happy Following Her Meet Up With Guy Ritchie About Their Bitter Custody Battle Over Son Rocco!
On Friday, details emerged about the Material Girl's sit down with her ex over their bitter custody battle for teenage son Rocco. Reportedly, the Like A Virgin singer and the English filmmaker met up on April 8 at Madge's London pad only a day after she landed in the U.K.
A source dished:
Guy Ritchie Is Seen Joining Son Rocco At Madonna's London Pad — Has His Bitter Custody Battle With The Singer Formally Come To An End?
It looks like Guy Ritchie and Madonna's custody battle may have a peaceful end. On Wednesday, the British filmmaker was seen swinging by the Material Girl's London residence where the twosome's son Rocco was also in attendance.
In pics obtained by DailyMail, Guy was seen arriving to the Like A Virgin singer's home on his bike as his son lingered in the doorway. And it appears that Rocco spent the night at his mom's place as he was photographed early Thursday morning departing from Madonna's house for his poppa's pad!
This meet up comes mere days after the 15 year old FINALLY reunited with his mom for a night out to
Madonna looks like she means business!
As you know, the 15-year-old left his momma's tour to go live with his father across the pond which sparked a bitter custody battle between the parents.
A U.K. High Court judge determined last month that this case must be settled in the States, and the former couple should reach an agreement together outside of court for the sake of their son. The next hearing is scheduled in NYC for June 1.
Dressed in all black and Wayfarer-style sunglasses, the blonde beauty touched down at Heathrow Airport to presumably come up with a plan to handle the custody of Rocco.
We're just hoping these two can hash it out — and decide on something that makes Rocco happy!

Could this bitter drama finally be coming to a close?
Madge, who has battled Guy for custody of their 15-year-old son Rocco since December, is hoping the sit down will occur before a proposed court hearing on June 1. The Hail Mary effort comes on the heels of Madonna's recent public displays of heartache and lonely holidays.
At the potential meeting in April, an insider revealed that there will be "no lawyers".
Unfortunately for the icon, this plan doesn't seem to jive with the father and son duo:
Judge Rules Madonna & Guy Ritchie Will Face Off In New York & Requests They Settle Custody Dispute Before 'Tragedy' Consumes The End Of Rocco's Childhood!
Will this drama EVER end?
As we reported, Madge recently withdrew her legal proceedings in England under the Hague Convention on International Child Abduction and requested that all legal matters be hashed out in New York.
And it looks like the Material Girl finally got a victory in this very dramatic case as Justice Alistair MacDonald ruled that the proceedings in the U.K. could be halted. Bravo!
Still, the feuding parents have a long way to go as the justice called the family dispute a "tragedy" and suggested the twosome should stop spending the "fast receding days" of Rocco's childhood in court. He added:
On Thursday, Guy headed to court (Madge was not present) in London to deal with his ongoing custody battle over Rocco Ritchie. While most of the court docs were sealed to Rocco's young age of 15, we know the hearing was set to decide whether or not the musican can focus most of her litigation in the United States.
For those who don't know, the singer recently withdrew her legal proceedings in England under the Hague Convention on International Child Abduction. Now the icon wants to have all legal matters hashed out in New York where she resides while not on tour.
The hearing is the latest installment in a lengthy and contentious battle for control over the teenager. The tension has become so bad between the two that their coparenting agreement fell through before the last court date on March 3.
According to Madonna, all she wants is to ensure Rocco is safe utilizing "native security" and that she has a say over his education. She also wants to maintain R.R.'s relationship with his siblings.
On Ritchie's end, he hopes the teen will be able to have a more normal upbringing in London, a desire his ex thinks is getting out of hand. Rocco was just caught smoking weed on the city streets just last week, after all!
While it's not clear if an agreement was reached, a reporter from The Guardian was able to glean this poignant message from the judge:
"An amicable negotiated resolution is definitely the way forward and in Rocco's best interests."
The legal maven also referred to the situation as "highly unfortunate and deeply regrettable".
The judge does have a point! Hopefully the two reach a conclusion so they don't have to head to court AGAIN on June 1.
