When Helen Mirren dropped some knowledge- and some f-bombs- on a group of drummers playing outside her theatre, she wants it made very clear she was NOT attacking their cause!
The performers were trying to drum up attention for their LGBT pride festival called As One In The Park. And Helen is all for that!
So the Dame made sure to let everyone know she supported the cause with a friendly T-shirt advertising the fest.
Ch-ch-check out the pics (below) to see the thoughtful, homemade, 100% cotton apology!
We think the message is pretty darn clear! She says:

God save the Queen anyone who pisses off the Queen!
Helen Mirren reprised her role as Queen Elizabeth II for the award-winning stage production of The Audience at the Gielgud Theatre in London this weekend!
But the real show took place outside where the actress told off a group of noisy drummers!
The street performers were apparently promoting the As One in the Park festival for the LGBT community later that month, but Helen found their banging a little distracting and told them so herself at the intermission!
She admitted that it definitely wasn’t one of her finer moments, and that she may have used a few no-no words:

Wouldn’t you cuddle up to the man who presented you with the Best Actress Award?!
Helen Mirren and her flawless self attended the Olivier Awards in London at the Royal Opera House on Sunday to collect an award for her performance in The Audience.
And none other than Daniel Radcliffe gave her the prestigious statuette. Lucky lady!
The Dame looked lovely in a navy blue beaded gown and matching platform heels.
Even though the dress had an off-the-shoulder cut, Miz Mirren still made it look nothing but elegant.
Congrats on the award! If anyone deserves it, it’s her!

Ch-ch-check out the sweet new trailer for Red 2 (above)!
Helen Mirren assassinating peeps, Catherine Zeta-Jones boozing it up, Anthony Hopkins's senile dancing, and Mary-Louise Parker sticking her tongue in everyone's mouth — this flick has just about everything anyone could want!!
Red 2 hits theaters on August 1st!

Helen Mirren LOVES Dolce & Gabbana, and she's not afraid to show it!
The actress wore the luxury Italian brand to several different events last year, and we guess this year is shaping up to be another D&G year as well.
Dame Helen attended The Prince's Trust Celebrate Success Awards in London on Tuesday in a green floral print Dolce & Gabbana which she styled with nude hose and pumps, and a multi-strand pearl necklace.
But this wasn't her first time wearing that particular frock — she also wore it two days ago to the Jameson Empire Awards (above, right) AND she wore it last December at the Hitchcock premiere in London (above, left).
When she likes a dress, she really, REALLY likes it! Ha!
And don't you just love it when celebs recycle outfits? It makes them seem almost normal!
LOLz!

Sometimes older people decide to wear one color from head to toe, and it is ALWAYS awesome.
Helen Mirren worked the monochromatic look after her performance in The Audience at The Gielgud Theatre in London on Thursday.
Dame Helen mostly stayed loyal to blue with her ensem, consisting of a royal blue coat, periwinkle pants, and cobalt V-neck — in fact, even the frames of her glasses were blue!
But she added some splashes of color in the form of a gray scarf, pink under-tee, and orange slippers.
Yes, ma'am. That's how it's done.

This corgi learned a cold, hard lesson about life.
You don't piss off Dame Helen Mirren!!
A dog acting in Mirren's hit play The Audience was stripped of its job after it failed to obey Mirren's commands.
The dog is named Lizzy and was supposed to run across the stage at Mirren's command, but refused to so not once, not twice, but for 18 consecutive plays.
Well, you know the old saying.
Fool me once - shame on you, but fool me 18 times and you're fired!
Stay strong, dog!
