Election season is upon us, which means late night shows are cashing in on this year's particularly entertaining presidential race with full force!
On Thursday's Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host discussed his run for VP, revealed his cabinet would include NFL star Rob Gronkowski, and touched upon issues near to his campaign — like overly long CVS receipts!
But Kimmel wasn't afraid to face off against his political critics either, as CNN anchors Jake Tapper, Dana Bash, and Wolf Blitzer interrupted his monologue to grill him on his lack of political experience and the fact that he wasn't asked to join the party of any candidate!
When asked if he thought he was making a "mockery" out of this election, the VP hopeful said it was "too late" for that!
Hmmm… we wonder who that was a dig at! LOLz!

Is this becoming a thing now?
As you may have seen, Allison Janney stopped by the White House two weeks ago to brief the press as her character from The West Wing.
Well, it seems as though people really appreciated her pop culture spin on real world politics, because Jeff Daniels just did the very same thing!
The Emmy-winning actor stopped by Bloomberg Politics' With All Due Respect on Wednesday to answer some questions about the 2016 election for hosts Mark Halperin and John Heilemann.

The Vice President sat down with Robin Roberts on Good Morning America Wednesday, where he revealed why it was so hard for him to keep his hat out of the ring. He said:
"I planned on running. It's an awful thing to say. I think I would have been the best president."
Wow. We don't know about awful, but it's pretty darn arrogant! Then again, so is running for POTUS…
Sadly, it was the tragic death of Joe's son Beau Biden that derailed his plans. He explained:
"No one should ever seek the presidency unless they're able to devote their whole heart and soul and passion into just doing that."
Find out the great cause toward which the VP is directing his passion instead in the full interview (below)!

Of course once Hillary Clinton wins, the gloves will come off and we're sure to hear some dirt and find some skeletons in each politician's closet.
But what if Hillary and Donald's secret is they've actually been BFFs this whole time, and Trump was just trolling the nation to sink the Republican party?!

House Speaker Paul Ryan Says He's 'Just Not Ready' To Endorse Donald Trump — See Trump's Very Mature & Reasonable Response! Oh Wait…
On Thursday, Paul Ryan revealed that he's "just not ready" to back the flippant presidential hopeful.
In an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper, the House Speaker said he wants to support the candidate, but some things need to change first!
"I'm just not ready to do that at this point. I'm not there right now. I hope to, though, and I want to, but I think what is required is that we unify this party."
Ryan, who is the highest-ranking Republican to publicly state he might not support the 69-year-old, said his refusal to back Trump is largely due to
