It's been a long time coming, but Bridget Jones's Baby may finally be due.
While Renée and Colin Firth both agreed to do the follow-up to 2001's Bridget Jones's Diary and 2004's Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, Hugh Grant declined the offer since he found the script to be poorly written.
Still, it should be fun to see the (former) Grey's Anatomy star get into mischief with the cast!
Bridget Jones's Baby has been in the works since 2009, so hopefully Patrick's casting really gets the ball rolling.
But the question is… would U watch a Bridget Jones movie without Hugh?!

He sure is super!
Henry Cavill may already have a superhero franchise under his belt, but he's about to add action spy to his impressive resumé.
That's because the hottie is about to star in the film reboot of the classic Spy-Fi TV series, The Man From U.N.C.L.E.!
Henry will be joined by Armie Hammer, Alicia Vikander, Hugh Grant, and Elizabeth Debicki, and from the looks of the trailer, we're thinking it's going to be the perfect blend of James Bond meets Melissa McCarthy's Spy.
We're hearing it's supposed to be an action/comedy, but the trailer totally makes it seem serious, but we're hoping they're just keeping the jokes a secret for when it his theaters on August 14!
Ch-ch-check out Henry in is sexiest role ever (above)!!!
One of the UK's biggest charities came stateside on Thursday night, marking the first ever Red Nose Day USA!
The epic charity event really brought the star power with a three hour live televised special on NBC with funny sketches and great performances!
One of the highlights of the night was a Hollywood Secrets sketch (above) featuring Julia Roberts & Hugh Grant. Tons of a-list actors share their memories of working with their fellow glitteratti, but they expose one of the their DEEPEST secrets in the process — their real voices!
We might need to change our knickers!
On Tuesday's episode of Watch What Happens Live!, Elizabeth Hurley was on the late night talk show to promote her new E! series, The Royals.
The 46-year-old said to the actress:
He's just a talk show host, standing in front of a guest, asking him to recreate one of his most famous scenes!
But since Julia wasn't available, Andy took over her role; he even wore a wig!
Bravo to the Bravo host! And to Hugh Grant for being such a good sport about it all!
We even didn't mind when broke out of character a couple of times with some laughter - we mean how could you not?!
Check it all the adorableness (below) !!!
Instead of making viewers cry with his romantic comedies, Hugh Grant admits to grabbing the tissues himself!
Now that the 54-year-old has three beautiful children — two with ex Tinglan Hong and one with Swedish TV exec Anna Eberstein — fatherhood has definitely made the notorious womanizer a softie!
The About A Boy star dishes that being a parent has made him "much nicer" and although he claims he's not romantic in a cheesy "marketed Hallmark Valentine's Day sense", he does indulge in his emotions!
One outta two ain't bad!
Colin Firth's beautiful face was talking to The Independent recently, and he was asked the inevitable question of whether or not Bridget Jones would be getting a third movie!
"[W]ould have to have somewhere to go… Back at the time, I said that a third one should only happen if we were telling a story about having moved into a different generation when we were all beginning to deteriorate a little bit. I think we might be ready for that moment!"
We think he may be right! It's been over a decade since the second one came out!!!
