Back in the day, if you told us Jay Leno was sneaking up behind Arsenio Hall, we'd fully expect a battle royale to ensue that would probably end with Jay trying to gauge out Arsenio's eyes with his chin, and Arsenio trying to knock him out with an arm pump!
However, last night on The Arsenio Hall Show, Jay Leno used some of his extra time in retirement to crash the program, and while a broken bones-filled epic fight failed to erupt, Jay did deliver some breaking news!
Arsenio was picked up for a second season by CBS Television Distribution! Roo roo roo roo!
Ch-ch-check out Jay's brief return to late night and celebrate another season of Arsenio (above)!!!
We think Jimmy Fallon looks pretty good behind his new desk, and viewers seem to agree as well, for the most part!
Jimmy had 11.31 million viewers tuning in last night during his inaugural episode, which was over 2 million more watching than there were during Conan O'Brien's premiere back in 2009. However, the two had the same rating of 3.8 in the 18-48 demographic.
Although he appears to have topped Conan, the viewership WAS less than the 14.6 million who watched The Tonight Show to say goodbye to Jay Leno. Well, at least say goodbye for a second time!
Overall, it was a pretty robust opening for Jimmy, and we're excited to see how he does in direct competition with David Letterman!
The Tonight Show chair is still moist from 22 years of Jay Leno's sweet-ass ass sweat, but you might be surprised to learn how quickly other late night hosts embraced the changing of the guards!
Jimmy Fallon came out swinging last night and his competitors from other networks were right there to cheer him on!
ABC's Jimmy Kimmel, for one, hopes they're rivals for decades to come!
And now retirement begins!
After Jay Leno's tearful goodbye to The Tonight Show, the former host hit the ground running to start his retirement!
Jay was spotted in Florida on Saturday afternoon giving his wifey, Mavis, some love before they were picked up at the hotel by a friend!
The two headed out to a local classic car museum, and we're definitely surprised the former Tonight Show host didn't leave the place with a few new wheels in tow!
Although maybe his wife wouldn't have been very happy with that. LOLz!!
Later that night Jay and Mavis took a private jet to West Palm Beach for his stand up comedy show!
Whoever said retirement was boring srsly didn't know how to live like Jay. Ha!

Way to exit out on top!
Jay Leno's final Tonight Show had the most viewers it's had in 15 years, as 14.6 million people tuned into laugh, cry, and say goodbye to Jay!
That's almost as many cars as he owns!
The last time such a large audience watched The Tonight Show was on May 14, 1998, when 15 million watched on to see Jerry Seinfeld talk with Jay right after the end of Seinfeld.
Well, it looks like these ratings should give Jay a reason to chin up! With such a large fan base, who knows? Maybe he'll return to television again!

Jay Leno has welcomed countless guests onto his couch during his 22 years as the Tonight Show host.
Now, as he bids his late night gig adieu, the stars who owe at least some of their fame to Jay are saying thanks for all he's done for them!
Twitter erupted with tweets from celebs wishing Mr. Leno the very best after his final Tonight Show last night.
Ch-ch-check out all of their heartfelt messages and pics of times passed…AFTER THE JUMP!
Looks like there's still a little bit of bad blood between Team Coco and Team Leno!
Last night was Jay Leno's (second) last Tonight Show, as he had previously abdicated his late night throne back in 2009 before taking over his hosting duties again in 2010 in a controversy that left Conan O'Brien famously out of his coveted job.
While many have wished Jay well on his second retirement, our favorite red head above 6 feet had only a solitary zinger to deliver on the subject on TBS' Conan:
