She makes the model guest!
Who knew growing up in front of reality TV cameras would make you so natural on set??
We've missed you, Jon!
Well last night, Stewart gave us what we've all been missing as he returned to the hit comedy news show — but it wasn't all laughs.
Though the former late night host received several cheers from the audience, Jon actually stopped by the show to help bring attention to the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act. This act, which expired on October 1 this year, helped to pay for the medical ailments 9/11 first responders have suffered including cancer, respiratory and digestive disorders, as well as mental health conditions.
So the funnyman did what he does best and took a group of 9/11 responders to the U.S. Capitol to visit officers of senators in hopes of having them pass the act permanently.

Finally, a woman in late night!
Samantha Bee first made a name for herself as a standout comedian on The Daily Show, but now she's about to get her very own talk show and we couldn't be more excited.
Not only is she going to be bringing a female voice to a male-dominated industry, but she'll also be representing her nerds proudly!
To prove her geek cred, Jon Stewart's former costar's latest promo calls upon a classic Star Wars scene at the cantina… but things don't go quite as planned since she's not entirely sure how to operate as a sith lord. LOLz!
If Full Frontal with Samantha Bee is as random yet topical as this commercial, then we're sure it's going to be a success when it premieres on TBS this February.

He wasn't gone for long, and he's already back!
Well, that question was finally cleared up for us on Tuesday when it was reported that the 52-year-old would be taking his talents to HBO for a four-year development deal!
Apparently, the comedian will start out by creating short format videos for the premium cable network's digital services, but this could transition further into potential television or movie opportunities, should he want to take on such a challenge.
Jon is one of the most awarded producers in sketch and satire of all time, so we're beyond confident that his work with HBO is going to turn out just as fantastic!

It's Trevor's turn!
That's right, it was the premiere of The Daily Show with a new host, and Noah wasn't too shabby for his first night on the air!
Throughout the show he made several references to Stewart calling him "political dad," even joking:
"I can only assume this is as strange for you as it is for me… Dad has left. Now it feels like the family has a new stepdad. And he's black. Which is not ideal."
Check Out Noah's opening from last night (below) and let us know what you think of the new host!
It looks like Jon Stewart is going out on top!!
It's no surprise to see The Daily Show getting tons of love in Jon's last year at the 2015 Emmys, and it took home one of the biggest trophies of the night winning the award for Outstanding Variety Talk Series!
The show was facing some stiff competition in shows like The Colbert Report, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Late Show with David Letterman, and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon!
Jon ended his speech on the perfect note, saying "Thank you! You never have to see my face again!"
We'll miss you, Jon!

He seems OK to us!
Last night on The Late Show, The Daily Show's Trevor Noah stopped by to chat it up with fellow new late night host Stephen Colbert!
While Noah was there, he of course talked a bit about his upcoming hosting gig and how he felt about taking over for Jon Stewart!
The 31-year-old comedian, worried he couldn't live up to his predecessor — AKA "Jewish Yoda" — and shared the advice Stewart gave him about taking the reigns:
"The Daily Show' is what ‘The Daily Show' should be for you to be the best show you can make."
To which the new host admitted:
He's a crowd pleaser!
Last night Stephen Colbert finally took over as host for The Late Show on CBS. We thought the show was a solid start to kick off Colbert's hosting duties with plenty of great moments from eating Oreos and slamming Donald Trump to chatting it up with George Clooney!
Stephen's return to television after leaving The Colbert Report last December had Twitter all abuzz with how much people had missed the comedian!
Most people seemed very pleased with Colbert's debut and jokes — there were even some good vibes sent to him from a few celeb fans!
