Rooney Mara embodies a frazzled, depressed housewife to perfection on the NYC set of Steven Soderbergh's Bitter Pill.

We are super excited for the upcoming thriller, but we can't really figure how the cast's chemistry will work - Channing Tatum as Rooney's ex-convict husband, as well as Jude Law & Catherine Zeta Jones.

But…sometimes the unexpected collaborations are the most enjoyable, right?!

Hmm…we wonder who that could be!

We'd guess Blake Lively but she was replaced by Rooney Mara in Jude's upcoming film The Bitter Pill.

It was pretty embarrassing when Steven Soderbergh's film lost financing as soon as Annapurna found out Blake Lively could be the star.

So Rooney Mara was cast instead to play Channing Tatum's husband and now just a day after hearing that news, financing is back in the picture!! Thanks to Endgame Entertainment!!

Wowsa! Rupert Murdoch's name is truly becoming synonymous with scandal!

Last year, we heard ALL ABOUT a large scale phone-hacking scandal, which resulted in a bunch of arrests of former employees of Murdoch's News of the World publication!

Earlier this week, Murdoch and his British newspaper company sent out 35 settlement checks, including a check for $200K to Jude Law, who had been kept under tight surveillance for quite some time.

Now, we've learned that

After admitting to hacking into Jude Law's phones and keeping him under tight surveillance, Rupert Murdoch and his British newspaper company have agreed to pay him $200,000 in apology dollars.
