We're gonna go out on a limb here and assume you watched at least part of the Super Bowl on CBS.
Maybe it was for the game, maybe for the halftime show, maybe even just the commercials…
But if you tuned in just because you thought The Good Wife was going to be on at its regularly scheduled time, you got TWO pieces of bad news Sunday night.
If you managed to make it through the entire thing, then chances are you noticed that Julianna Margulies and her team tried to slip in a casual commercial confirming that the current seventh season of the Emmy-winning series will be the last!
Ever since TGW became a one-woman show somewhere in Season Six, it lost the ensemble feel that made it a hit, but we're still excited to see how Robert and Michelle King wrap things up.
This also means they only have nine more episodes to bring back
Awards season is finally upon us!

Ooh they have arrived!!
Especially since we didn't expect either of these outfits from this duo!!
The Good Wife starlet stunned in an electric blue Giambattista Valli gown, featuring a sexy thigh-high slit. Not only did it accentuate her killer body, but the color looks amazing on her!
And she styled the whole ensem with a loose updo and black jewels.
On the other hand, Julia rocked a gorgeous black Monique Lhuillier dress with a demure lace bodice and sleeves. Though that curve-hugging fit was giving it that extra glam factor.
We love them both, do U???

But she wasn't the first!
The Good Wife's Alicia Florrick, played by Julianna Margulies, wore the same suit in season 5, episode 10 of the show!
And now we must ask…

Congratulations to George Clooney!
Obviously, he knew well in advance that he would be honored at the Golden Globe Awards with the Cecil B. DeMille Award For Lifetime Achievement In Motion Pictures!
In the end though, it's his lovely new bride Amal who he chooses to honor with a statement right from the heart!
