Justin Bieber’s Purpose Ticket Sales Might've Had A LOT To Do With The Tour Being Canceled!

| Filed under: Music MinuteBusiness BlitzJustin Bieber

Justin Bieber has good timing!

Amid news Justin Bieber has canceled the rest of his Purpose world tour, new details are coming out.

And it turns out, his ticket sales for his last leg haven't been doing so well!

According to Billboard, AEG Presents sources say the final 14 shows weren't selling that well, which they believe is because he was continuing to play stadiums without a new album since Purpose. In case you forgot, Biebs' latest album was released in November of 2015, so it's definitely been a while!

Only one of his 14 remaining shows sold out, and for others, there were large sections of the stadiums going unsold. Not to mention, thousands of tickets were being resold on other sites.

Still, the AEG sources were willing to move forward with the tour, but didn't put up a fight when Justin decided to cancel:

TMZ caught up with the 23-year-old prophet singer as he was getting lunch on Tuesday, and that's when Biebs might as well have said "WTF?" to the church-y claims.

After being asked if it was all true, Justin said with a grimace:

Members From Justin Bieber's Purpose Crew Are BEYOND Pissed!

| Filed under: Music MinuteBusiness BlitzJustin Bieber

Justin Bieber might want to tell them he's 'Sorry'?

Sounds like Justin Bieber's decision to cancel the rest of his Purpose tour was a spur-of-the-moment decision.

That or the singer really couldn't care less about screwing over his crew because according to TMZ, they claim they weren't even given a warning this might happen!

Sources close to the Purpose team allege the pop star blindsided them without even an explanation, and now 200 people are out of work because of it.

Yikes!

It's not a great situation, but as we previously reported, Justin's manager Scooter Braun made it clear it was time to put the singer first.

Still, Biebs' crew is left in the dust and seemingly without empathy for the 23-year-old's need to rest, as it was reminded he just had a month off.

A personal thank you from the celeb might go a long way here, though it won't help them find their next gig.

You don't want a scorned crew the next time you tour, right?

Now that's one hell of a purpose!

Beliebers around the globe felt shocked and betrayed when Justin Bieber suddenly canceled the remaining dates of the Purpose tour last week.

But it looks like salvation may be on the horizon, as new reports claim the singer might be taking some time off to focus on his faith — and possibly even start his own church!

That's right. The Church of Bieber — or, if he wants to go more contemporary, Biebertology — could actually be a reality.

Never one to be shy about talking faith, the Biebs has become more and more vocal about his religious affiliations these days.

Last month, he attended a conference for Hillsong, a Pentecostal megachurch based in Sydney, and afterward sat down alongside hipster pastor Carl Lentz to talk worship, professing:

"My faith grows every day, so my faith is stronger than two years ago; better, wiser, kinder."

Well, insiders are now saying the 23-year-old might actually be working to take his Beliebers to a higher ground with a church of his own. A source told Australia's Today Extra:

Hours after dropping the news, the Sorry singer was spotted in Santa Monica where a paparazzo inquired about the scrapped concert.
