Remember a while back when we did a post on Justin Long setting up his friend Joey Kern with his other friend Ginnifer Goodwin? And that it seemed like he was the best match-maker ever because it was a whirlwind and they eventually got engaged??

Well, we're sad to report that those two have split, and the wedding is off.

Apparently they "broke up a few weeks ago."

Sorry, Justin! So close! Keep working on that matchmaking formula because you almost had it!

Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester was reportedly spotted having a romantic dinner at La Poubelle in El Lay with none other than former Mr. Drew Barrymore, Justin Long!

Sources at the restaurant are reporting that the pair were holding hands the entire time, stayed at the restaurant until well after midnight, and even friendly and chatty with fans!

The insider reveals:

"They were happily willing to talk to fans who approached them."

Wow - we actually kind of like these two together!

And they were both recently in pretty longterm relationships, so we're happy that that they're getting back out there!
