Well that was a side of Justin we haven't seen before. And believe it or not, we didn't hate it!
Justin Timberlake showed off a different sound when he performed at the 2015 CMA Awards on Wednesday. Yup, you read that right! The former *NSYNC heartthrob sang at an awards ceremony celebrating COUNTRY music.
We know. We were surprised when we first heard about it, too.
But the ex-boy band member took the stage at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville alongside Chris Stapleton, where they teamed up to perform a medley of their respective songs!
The southern gentlemen — joined by some unnamed girl who was just never addressed — started off singing the country crooner's track Tennesee Whiskey.
And while JT didn't have that standard country twang in his voice, this random dynamic duo actually sounded pretty good together!
The boys then busted out a bluesy version of the pop powerhouse's song Drink You Away, from his 2013 album The 20/20 Experience — 2 of 2.
Donning all black and backed by a brass band, the Tennessee and Kentucky natives brought the house down with big, elaborate, soulful riffs at the end of their set! Ch-ch-check it out (above)!
And be sure to check out the ongoing winners list HERE!
This just in… Timberlake is in the building!
The 34-year-old showed up at Country Music's biggest night on Wednesday keeping things classy yet casual in a jacket-and-jeans combo!

What do U think of Justin's musical crossover look??

World philosophers and ‘90s nostalgia nerds can breathe easy, because we FINALLY know the answer to one of the world's most saught-after questions…
Why the f*ck is there a star in the name *NSYNC!?
According to former bandmate Joey Fatone, the decision was birthed before the band took off.
During a trip to the U.K. in an attempt to build a European fanbase, they had a chance encounter with Israeli illusionist Uri Geller in London's Covent Garden — a meeting that led to one of the music industry's biggest mysteries!
Fatone told the Huffington Post:
Do we smell a new squad forming?!
Recently, the blonde beauty took to Twitter and shared:
OMG! LOVES it.
Who knew the divas were such big fans of each other's work?? Still, the Grammy winner will have plenty of time to ch-ch-check out the Piece Of Me residency in Sin City as Justin Timberlake's ex has extended her stay by two years.
Though this isn't the first shoutout the Baby One Time performer has received from a starlet across the pond. In fact,
Since Bieb's newest album drops in only a couple weeks, he's been doing some press to help promote it — especially since he doesn't want to be overshadowed by One Direction's album dropping the same day!
The What Do You Mean singer stopped by BBC Radio 1 on Tuesday morning and talked a bit with host Nick Grimshaw about his new album and how his sound has changed and evolved over the years. JB even compared himself to another pop sensation, Justin Timberlake, when he said:
