God help you if you show up backstage at one of his shows in a man-made fiber. You'll be TOAST!

Kanye West is a big name and a huge artist, which means he's entitled to make certain demands of his crew while he is on tour. Most artist's riders have lists of drinks and foods an artist wants at their disposal at all times, but Ye isn't just any performer.

He's Kanye West! Duh!

So, on his rider, not only does he insist on having Versace towels shipped over, which are then cut into smaller sizes so he can use them onstage (GASP!!!), but

Always the artist, Kanye is looking to show off the Middle East in style!

Much like he did with his film/video Runaway, Ye is looking to do a project on the misunderstood region of the world and bring it's culture to a new audience. The music video/short film hybrid is expected to be 30 minutes and the rapper has explored several regions of the area and met with major players in each region while looking for a potential spot to shoot a film.

A source said the following on the project:

He conceived the story, which is set in the Gulf. It’s supposed to showcase the beauty of the region, a piece that’s culturally sensitive and embraces the customs and traditions of the region.

Since it's Ye's baby, everyone wants a piece of the project, so a bidding war has ensued to see where Kanye films the project.

This isn't the first time Ye has filmed a project like this either!

After Kanye's tardiness pissed off a bunch of Aussies last weekend, Soundgarden's Chris Cornell was too thrilled that his band's set was shortened.

Turns out, he's got no beef with Ye.

This weekend, Kanye West put his fans in a foul mood at Big Day Out when he arrived 45 minutes late to his set and kept them all waiting in the rain. Once he finally got there, he put on a show spectacular enough to appease them, but the rockers of the newly reunited Soundgarden were far less forgiving.

The group ended up having to play their set on a neighboring stage to Kanye, who was going through soundcheck at the time. His music was blasted so loud that it overpowered that of Soundgarden's and the fans were more than just displeased. Frontman Chris Cornell, who clearly wasn't impressed with Ye's music, shouted out to the crowd:
