For reasons unknown, Kate Beckinsale attended the Star Trek Into Darkness premiere in Hollywood on Tuesday night.

Wearing a black Alberta Ferretti strapless dress with cutaway hem, the actress looked rather simple.

If it wasn't for her toned bod and perfectly symmetrical face, we might not have recognized her.

This is definitely a case of the star outshining the dress, although her strappy neon Jimmy Choos brought some excitement to the ensem.

Overall, not horrible, but nothing to write home about either.

The 39 year old strut her stuff at the Met Gala tonight in a red hot asymmetrical Alberta Ferretti dress that showed off a healthy amount of leg.

Lorraine Schwartz jewels, black Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and a faboosh messy pompadour completed her look

Again, this isn't what we would consider punk, but there's no denying that Kate looks great.

When someone invented the tights, they had one person in mind: Kate Beckinsale!

Seriously! Those dark gray tights and those (almost) knee-high boots just WON'T QUIT! LOLz!

She was at the Brentwood Country Mart, prolly looking to do a little shopping, maybe some people watching.

She was looking good, dressed down in a comfy lookin' sweater, cool shades and her insanely adorable pup!

We'd say she took her dog for a walk but her doggy didn't do any of the work!

Her pup just sat in her mama's arms while getting carried around the Mart.

But she gets the pass because she's the cutest little ball of fluffiness we've ever seen!!

The 39-year-old Total Recall actress has been vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with her family, and just because she's with her loved ones doesn't mean that she can't show off her hawt bod!

Miz Beckinsale was seen chilling by the pool at her hotel wearing a black bikini top and matching shorts, which accentuated everything about her trimmed physique.

And taking into mind that the starlet likes to do yoga, we can see why her shape is so friggin' awesome.
