David Letterman's final show on Wednesday night brought in his biggest ratings since 1994!
That's a major coup in the late night wars for CBS as they said goodbye to the funny man's 33-year late night career.
In fact, the Late Show with David Letterman registered a 4.1 rating in the coveted age 25-54 demographic, and in the 18-49 demographic Letterman logged a 3.1 rating.
What's all that mean? Really simply put: those ratings are his best single night performance since Oprah joined him on stage at the Ed Sullivan Theater on December 1, 2005.

In total, 13.76 million people tuned in to bid farewell to Dave ham it up with everybody from the Foo Fighters, to Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Carrey, and more.
