Wow, how times have changed!
Maggie Gyllenhaal News Archive
This is like one of those leisure suits popular with men in the 1970s!
Remember when Sam Weir wore a powder blue jumpsuit in that one episode of Freaks & Geeks? It's just like that except beige!
Maggie Gyllenhaal may or may not have been paying homage to Sam in her tie-waist coveralls while talking with a friend in New York yesterday. She even popped her collar and everything!
Honestly, with the color of the outfit so close to her skin tone, it might've fooled people into thinking the actress was nude! We bet she got a lot of double takes from onlookers!
If only she had a time machine to travel back to 1974 or something.

Oooooh, we are LOVING this!
The gorgeous empire waist is embellished with some shiny stones that gives the gown a subtle shimmer.
Our favorite part of the Dolce & Gabbana dress, however, are all the feathers that you don't really expect to work…
But they TOTALLY do!
Plus her effortless pixie hair is beautiful and perfectly suits the mood of the dress!
Though they're hiding under her dress, we love the little glimpse of her cream Manolo Blahnik pumps!
Total win all around, gurl.

The Wolf Of Wall Street starlet arrived in flawless form with her green tank tucked into the label’s gold lamé mini skirt and a clustered necklace and simple clutch for accessories.
She looks fab in emerald!
Meanwhile, Maggie chose to contrast black and white with her two-piece and accessories, but we think the black tights might have been a little unnecessary!
Marion went in a completely different direction, instead opting for a dash more color with the fashion powerhouse’s sequined sheer dress only complemented by a swipe of gloss and an unexpected yellow polish on her nails.
All three were clearly going for different, yet striking looks, but we wanna know…

As Uncle Jesse would say, "Have Mercy!!!"
There were a lot of delightful duos on the Met Gala red carpet, but there were two pairs that really had a hard time pulling off their look.
To your left, we have The Gyllenhaals, Maggie and Jake. You don't get to see them together on a red carpet too often… but maybe this is why. Coordination doesn't seem to be a work in their vocabulary.
But then there are the Olsen Twins, fashionistas by trade. They have less of an excuse…and totally missed the mark.
So, here is the million dollar question:
Did U Like Either Of These Looks?!
- Um… No! (47%)
- Yes! The The Gyllenhaals (21%)
- Yes! The Olsen Twins! (32%)

Oops!! Seems this sibling duo didn't get the memo!
Well, we're not entirely sure what they were feeling.
Maggie dropped jaws in an unique Valentino gown, but only because it looked like she was wrapped up in her personal curtains! If only Jake would have warned her, but he wasn't doing much better.
Not only was he not wearing a white tie, but he wasn't wearing one period! Rather, the actor dressed in a white blazer with a black dress shirt and trousers.
He didn't even make a clean-shaven appearance! Sigh.

You know that saying that before you leave the house, you should take something off??
This long-sleeved, purple lace number is seriously decked out in all sorts of bedazzled little things. We're not even sure what all is on there, but we do know she should've taken off at least one thing…and probably more like 50 things!
But we love the popping lip color! Unfortunately, we almost missed it thanks to that busy gown!

The Great White Way is about to get even greater!
Maggie Gyllenhaal is coming to Broadway, so it looks like Midtown Manhattan will get just that much more congested, as we're sure her stage presence will bring thousands…nay, millions on an epic pilgrimage to see her act.
She'll be in Tom Stoppard's play The Real Thing starring opposite of Ewan McGregor, who will be treading the boards on Broadway for the first time as well.
Maggie plays the woman Ewan's playwright character leaves his wife for! Sounds steam-ay, and with these two hotties in these roles, we're sure there's not going to be a dry seat in the house.
The play won the 1984 Tony award for Best Play, so who knows if this revival will get Maggie a Tony too!
Congrats, Maggie! You lick that Playbill!
