Will the Big Apple franchise be getting one of their original ladies back??
Now, the unfiltered SkinnyGirl is addressing those rumors by…well, sort of by talking around them!
While we love Mandy Moore as a singer, we're happy to hear she will return to the small screen as a recurring character on FOX's Red Band Society.
The gorgeous Mandy will play Dr. Erin Grace and the ex-fiancé of Dr. Jack McAndrew, played by Dave Annabel.
Ooh, sounds complicated!
Red Band Society follows a group of eclectic kids in the pediatric ward and the doctors who try to brighten their spirits.
If y'all don't remember, Mandy once had cameos on Grey's Anatomy and Scrubs, so we're confident she'll slay the role.
The show has already received a lot of positive buzz, so we're super excited to tune in when it premieres on September 17th!
We're absolutely THRILLED by this news!
In a recent interview, Mandy Moore revealed her plans to start recording music for a new album by summer's end!
So. many. feelings.
"I have decided that 2014 is the year of actual progress. I'm hoping to start recording later this summer."
Back in 2012, Mandy announced her plans for a follow-up to Amanda Leigh, so we hope her comeback is for real this time!
Maybe hubby Ryan Adams will lend Mandy some of his musical expertise!

While most couples enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner for their wedding anniversaries, Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams like to have a little more old-fashioned fun.
And by old-fashioned we mean the couple went old school to celebrate their 5-year anniversary with a '50s prom-themed shindig!
Didn't score an invite to slow dance alongside the twosome and famous bestiez like Minka Kelly??! Well, we have deets!
