The end is near!

After eight years, the ladies of Desperate Housewives will be soon be desperate for a new job, and castmember Marcia Cross, who has played Bree Van de Kamp for the series' entirety, has opened up about leaving Wristeria Lane for good!

Sad! But eight seasons is a solid run, and we always think it's best to go out on your own terms!

The season opener of Desperate Housewives' last season premiered to its lowest ratings ever.

It seems like TV viewers are more interested in watching football than ladies who are probably a little bit past their prime.

Last night, (almost) all of the ladies from Desperate Housewives stepped on onto Wistera Lane for the Final Season kick-off party. Looking ravishing as ever was Vanessa Williams, Brenda Strong, Marcia Cross, Eva Longoria and Felicity Huffman.

Those last two might've hit the bar a bit before they go on the red carpet! Look how silly they're acting! HA! We're sure it was a fun night for them!

Last week, it was announced that life on Wisteria Lane would finally be coming to an end as this upcoming seventh season of Desperate Housewives would be the last. As the show was supposed to be extended into an eighth season, it was odd that the network decided to cut their long-standing, high-rating show short, but it seems like the decision was more showrunner Marc Cherry's than theirs.
