Strangely, there have been some mixed responses to the idea of an all-new Ghostbusters team made up completely of women.
We don't think there's any point in just remaking the perfect original movie, but a new take with a new group of gals busting heads in a spiritual sense? Genius!
And we're not the only ones who think so! O.G. G.B. Bill Murray may be hesitant to return to the franchise himself, but he's totally down with the lady Ghostbusters! He said:
"I'm fine with it. I would go to that movie, and they'd probably have better outfits, too."
But Bill isn't going to pass the protoplasmic torch to just anyone! He has some FANTASTIC choices to succeed the classics! His first pick? Same as ours! Melissa McCarthy! Bill says:
Wow, we're so happy to see Melissa McCarthy and Steve Carell lending their comedic talents to such a great cause!
On Wednesday, Melissa and Steve were spotted filming a commercial for the amazing charity, Stand Up To Cancer.
Both Melissa and Steve looked hilarious in their Olympic wardrobe of bedazzled red track suits and golden sneaks. At one point in the shoot, the comedians topped off their sporty looks with
If time truly is a flat circle, then we won't mind reliving this night over and over again!!
Tonight's Emmys were SOOOOO stacked that we didn't really know what to expect — except maybe Jim Parsons winnning.
The guy has more Emmys than the man who makes them and keeps the "rejects" as he's making them, like someone who works at Dairy Queen and loves free ice cream.
We mean, can you believe that Gwen Stefani didn't spend hours practicing how to say Colbert Report??
Even if you saw it once, you gotta see the whole emotionally draining (in the good way!) night IN GIFs (below)!
Seth Meyers is doing a fine job hosting the 2014 Emmys.
He isn't just telling jokes, he's answering questions from the crowd. And not softballs either!
Jon Hamm, Melissa McCarthy, Andre Braugher, and more have some super serious and not at all ridiculous inquiries for their host.
Ch-ch-check out the video (above) to see all the HIGHlarious gotcha questions!
Melissa McCarthy is walking a fine line with this gown.
The Mike & Molly star hit the Emmys red carpet in a very dark custom Marchesa that we just aren't loving.
On the one hand, the black on black on black is a straightforward, elegant choice. And she's certainly accessorizing well. But is it all a bit too safe?
There's such thing as too subtle, and this is bordering on the boring. It's certainly somewhat somber in the daylight.
We think we COULD love this with a little tweaking- we just wish Melissa had a splash of color in here somewhere.
