With the extremely tragic shooting in Isla Vista, near UCSB this weekend, there have been a lot of details coming to light.
Two of the most important being the shooters extremely misogynistic views and intentions to kill a lot more then he actually managed to.
However, as it always does, this new tragedy has also opened up a conversation about gun control in America.
So, Michael Moore, outspoken as always, has taken to his Facebook to comment on what happened and he's actually made some really valid points.
Sarah Silverman took a stab at expressing her opposition to voter ID laws and now it's Michael Moore's turn.
Much like the comedian's HIGHlarious take on the issue, the documentarian recruited some old folks — a group of Americans likely to be affected by the new state laws — to talk about voter suppression.
Boy are they angry!
Since many fear that the new laws are just a shady way to exclude many Americans, likely to vote for Barack Obama, from being included in the democratic process, one senior citizen warns:
Welcome to 1984!!
According to Susan Sarandon and Michael Moore, America has turned into a Big Brother government — and they're being watched.
During a Q&A at the Tribeca Film Festival, two famous left political activist were asked if they are "under surveillance," by the government. Sarandon told the inquisitive audience member:
Very inneresting, indeed!
On Piers Morgan Tonight last night, Michael Moore once again made an appearance, this time to discuss the new Occupy Our Homes initivate, which, based on the suggestion by Democratic Rep. Marcy Kaputur, urges evicted homeowners to stay put and not leave the property, because if it's taken to court, the bank can't prove that they own the house because they no longer have the mortgage!
Ch-ch-check out his explanation (above)!
What do U think?? Do U agree with Moore's stance on this one??
