The Queen of Country is ready to take back her throne.
The two can't seem to stay out of the press ever since linking up last fall.
In case you need a refresher, Gwen and Gavin — who share three sons together Kingston, 10, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 2 — split last year after the Bush front man allegedly had an affair with the family's nanny, ending the 12-year marriage. Yikes.
So let's see how the 50-year-old spends his days relatively out of the spotlight, shall we?
Wow. This is heavy stuff from a typically light-hearted dude!
Although Blake Shelton is obviously very happy with his new love Gwen Stefani, the country crooner admits to going through some pretty dark days following his split from his wife of four years, Miranda Lambert.
The 39-year-old If I'm Honest singer opened up to People about the trying time:
"This time last year, there was no light at the end of the tunnel for me personally. There was a point there where I thought I didn't even want to exist anymore. I told people I wished I could go into a coma and wake up a year from now."
"Here we are a year from now, and [look at] the way things have turned out and how crazy life is sometimes. You never know who's in your life that can save your life, and I found that out."
Crazy how so much can change in a short amount of time!
We're happy to hear B.S. is living his best life!
Back in 2012, the country superstar opened Pink Pistol boutique in OK — which she has now decided to consolidate exclusively to the flagship store in her hometown of Lindale, Texas.
In a statement, the Little Red Wagon singer explained:
Miranda Lambert will sometimes share a photo or two from her tour, a cute pic of her pups, or even a snuggly snap with her boyfriend Anderson East.
But that's very rare.
In the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, Miz Lambert chalks it all up to being "horrible at all of social media:"
"To think of something clever or make sure you spell something right…I always have 14 people read it because I'm worried about all of it."
Ha! Been there!
But not only does she admittedly not know how to use the apps, the blonde beauty doesn't really have the desire to learn:
Country music, in particular, is known specifically for this reason.
And as it turns out, his 32-year-old country superstar ex totally gets it!
An insider told E! News:
"Miranda is aware of what country artists do when creating new music. She is not upset at the lyrics because she knows it's just how it goes, especially as a country artist."
In fact, Miz Lambert is planning to sing her side of the story:
Since Blake Shelton's new album is called If I'm Honest, it makes sense why the country crooner has been so candid about the inspiration behind the upcoming record.
On Monday, the singer opened up about his new album during the iHeartRadio album release show in El Lay.
While he didn't specifically name Miranda Lambert as the inspiration of the song I Bet You Still Think About Me, Shelton went into the meaning behind the breakup track. He said:
