We can actually get behind this!

In Touch is reporting that Mischa Barton is apparently such a big fan of Dancing With The Stars that she's campaigning to be a contestant on the next season of the reality competition!

A source reveals:

"Mischa watches the show religiously, and she thinks she can hold her own and maybe even win it. She likes the idea of being on a top-rated show, too."

Not a bad plan, bb!

We think that a spot on that show could definitely put your career on the right path again - but it will certainly take a lot of hard work and commitment!

Why? Oh, just for being a wee bit too sketchy for everyone's liking.

Photogs caught up with Mischa Barton and boyfriend DJ Ali Love last night as they left a London hotel looking rather worse for wear. As they got into a black cab, the police caught them throwing unidentified items out of their car window and immediately pulled them over.

Luckily, whatever they threw away wasn't important enough to get them arrested, but the cops were spotted having a few words with the cab driver before allowing them to get on their way.

Hopefully, wherever the cab was taking them was quiet and safe…and sans a pAArty.

Oh Mischa, here we go again!

The former, The O.C. actress took a break from being nuts, to make sure to tell everyone that she is not crazy.

She says that after her visit to a psychiatric hospital last year everyone looks at her and thinks she is insane…a little paranoid?

Mischa explained the situation:

"I had this terrible surgery to remove my wisdom teeth and it drove me mad. I had infections and I couldn't eat anything except Slush Puppies for three months and I can't tell you how awful it was. Anyway, I'd had enough and I went to the hospital. I was in a lot of pain and if they feel you are depressed or a danger to yourself they can hold you on a 5150. I am terrified of needles and they wanted to pump me full of drugs and I said, 'No, absolutely not. I don't want to be here,' and got into a fight with the nurses, and that led to my 5150.

"Part of me wishes those things had never happened in the public eye. I wish I could have been perfect. For ages after that 5150 I'd walk down the street and people would give me the crazy eye: 'There's Mischa Barton, she's insane, isn't she?'"

Hmm…many of us have had our wisdom teeth out and have not ended up in the psych ward.

Sorry Mischa, we hope things get better for you!

Finally! Time to get the career back on track!

Mischa Barton, after despising the way she was portrayed on Fearne Cotton's reality show, signed on to do her own show to portray her in a more positive light. Yesterday, Mischa was spotted out and about El Lay, with a camera crew close to her lederhosens.

Yes, we are calling into question this outfit you're sporting, Misch! Did you just escape from a cuckoo clock? What's this ensemble all about? It horribly put together and ruins the fact that your shoes are fierce!

But we're excited to see that filming is underway! That means we'll get to watch it for ourselves soon enough!

Oh goodie goodie! Personal time with Mischa! What kind of wondrous things will she say and do for the cameras?!

Looks like someone was having a rough morning!

Mischa Barton was spotted driving her cadillac around West Hollywood the other day and looking a little worse for the wear!

Get some sleep, bb! Run down is not a good look for you!

While getting hair extensions at a West Hollywood salon, Mischa Barton seems to be in a great deal of pain.

Wonder if her guy is doing it right. We're pretty sure it's not supposed to hurt.

Poor thing. Bet it'll be worth it in the end!

Uh-oh!

Mischa Barton is apparently livid over the way she was portrayed during her appearance on Fearne Cotton's show, and is now lashing out at the British TV personality!

She says:

"I think Fearne Cotton's show is a joke and she's a joke. I can't hear Fearne's name without seeing red. I wish I hadn't done it and that's bad because there are enough misconceptions about me in the press. She's got nothing to lose if she makes a more salacious story, she's only got everything to gain. I just find her messed up, to be honest. Fearne never let on that she was irritated about waiting. She acts like everything's so great and she loves you and they cut it together and make it seem like it was a terribly painful experience for them. I don't want to start a feud with her, it's not worth it to me. She likes the fame, it doesn't affect her like it affects the people she's documenting."

Sorry, bb, but that's the risk you take when you sign up to do a show like that!

And we doubt that Fearne could have spinned it THAT much - in fact, we think that you're just mad that she didn't spin it in your FAVOR!

According to reports, Mischa Barton is heading back to El Lay after she was dumped by her Brit DJ boyfriend, Ali Love. The reason, ironically enough, was the Ali couldn't deal with all the fame that came with being Mushy's beau.

Um, what fame? It's been a long time since anyone has cared about what that D-lister is up to! Please!

Still, he is sticking to his story, reportedly telling friends he wasn't expecting to get so much attention and "values his privacy" too much to continue seeing Mischa. So he broke up with her.

But unlike her career, she isn't giving up on him. Pals of the pair say that it may not be out of the realm of possibility that they could reconcile.

Uh-huh. Yeah, okay. Again, let's be clear. No one cares whether you are together or not, so just chose one and stick with it. And if you are doing this simply for the publicity, consider this one a FAIL!
