We have a feeling we're gonna love this!
Zayn Malik proved that bowing out of the biggest boy band in the world could be profitable when his debut single Pillowtalk went No. 1 on the charts… and now the rest of One Direction is following his lead.
The 23-year-old first sparked songwriting rumors on Tuesday when he let Directioners know he was back in the States in an Instagram post, writing:
"Good to be back in LA …writing trip two wish me luck 🇺🇸🎼🎬"
Wait. When was writing trip one?!
Regardless, Liam REALLY drove 1D fans wild less than 24 hours later on Wednesday when he subtly suggested a supposed title for his first single, simply saying:
On Saturday, the girl group debuted their new song Shout Out To My Ex, which features several scalding lyrics about Perrie Edwards' former fiancé and his lack of skills in the bedroom.
On Monday, Jade Thirlwall performed some wacky dance moves in a video post, waving her arms and spinning around as bandmate Jesy Nelson shouted:
X Factor UK judge Louis Walsh always tells it like it is.
Speaking to DailyMail.com, the judge said that 1D was doomed from the start because their quick rise to fame turned them into "monsters."
But that's not the worst part, Directioners — Walsh also claimed that the boys' superstar success as a group was giving them false hope for solo careers! He explained:
Zayn Malik better watch out…
Although the release for Little Mix's book Our World isn't until October 20, one fan got their hands on a copy of the tome and revealed that Miz Edwards TOTALLY confirmed how the PILLOWTALK crooner dumped her. Hmm, go on!
The fan revealed on Twitter:
While in Dubai promoting her collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger, Gigi Hadid got on the topic of her Middle Eastern heritage and shared in an interview that her ancestry bonds her and BF Zayn Malik. Only problem is, the former One Direction member is Pakistani — which is not a part of the Middle East. Merp!
Miz Hadid shared:
Hey, Liam Payne… We see you!
On Sunday night, the couple went out for a romantic date at Nobu in London — and people could not stop talking about the the 33-year-old's supposed bump through her tan, knitted dress!
It's been dead silent on both Cheryl and Liam's ends on the matter, so we can't wait to hear if there's truth to the speculation!
This is some big shade from a band with "little" in the title!
That's because despite publicly addressing their breakup before, we're thinking Little Mix's next single Shout Out to My Ex is very clearly Perrie's way of officially saying goodbye to the former One Direction singer!
While the audio and video for the first single off their fourth studio album don't drop until this Sunday — during The X Factor, of course – we now know enough of the song to make an educated guess about the titular "Ex."
