Despite some mixed reviews from fans, we absolutely loved it!
Well if you're like us and were left wanting more from the Tanners and Gibblers, we've got some great news as the streaming service has renewed the revival series for a second season!
The nostalgia-filled show took to Twitter to announce:
But just because Mary-Kate and Ashley aren't on set, doesn't mean they're not in the show somehow…
As Candace Cameron Bure and Jodie Sweetin revealed in advance, the first ep includes a scene that pokes fun at the twins being absent.
However, there was apparently more to that bit as People attended the live taping and talked to John Stamos about a bit of extra shade that was thrown the sister's way!
As we reported, Sweetin's character asks where the Olsen Twins' character of Michelle is to which Bob Saget replies:
They still got it, dude!
Fuller House hasn't even been streaming for 24 hours yet, but some fans have already managed to binge watch the entire season!
Most fans agreed that the Netflix reboot had the same corny charm of the original series, and had plenty of Full House references for viewers to snack on throughout the season!
And, yes, a lot of those references were some light-hearted shade thrown at the Olsen Twins, who skipped out on the reunion!
While some viewers were a bit disappointed that fan service took priority over the actual storytelling, everyone seemed to agree on one thing — the cast still looked AH-Mazing!
Ch-ch-check out everything Twitter had to say about Fuller House (below)!
While most of the cast signed on, Mary-Kate and Ashley opted out, a sad fact at which John Stamos has thrown some shade, even joking he wanted Elizabeth Olsen to play the sisters' role on Fuller House.
But how does the show address the noticeable absence? Stars Candace Cameron Bure and Jodie Sweetin have opened up to Us Weekly about it!
We already knew that the Fuller House explains Michelle's absence by mentioning she's in New York to start her fashion line — an obvious nod to the twins' real life business.
However, Bure revealed when her TV sis' other
There's no way they're not going to be in at least one episode, right?
Sure, Michelle may only be one person, but how funny would it have been to watch MK&A switch back and forth now that we can actually tell them apart? LOLz!
Well, it seems as though we're not the only ones who are gonna miss the twins, because the rest of the Netflix series' cast is still talking about their absence about three months after it was first reported!
While speaking to People, John Stamos joked about a moment he had with Lori Laughlin about why the girls are skipping the reboot, saying:
John Stamos was in a nostalgic mood on Sunday afternoon, when he decided to reach back into his archives — 1989, to be exact — and pull out the MOST adorable video of Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen from their time on Full House!
No Sookie for you, Gilmore Girls fans!
We had a tiny glimmer of hope that Melissa McCarthy might make a small cameo in the Gilmore Girls revival — but now that hope is dead!
In a recent interview, series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino said they would "write her a scene" if the Spy star had any free time available from her busy filming schedule.
Sherman-Palladino reportedly told Melissa's team that the production would "put her right in" a scene if she were to drop by when she was available.
But that's not what the Ghostbusters star is saying!
Responding to a fan inquiry on Twitter on Tuesday, the 45-year-old seemed to make it pretty clear that she wasn't planning on coming back to the series. She wrote:
